10-20 Update on Leroy troublemaker civie

Dr. B still isn't concerned but to ease my worries, he says a check up and x rays are a good idea. One of his vet techs is going to contact me to schedule that.

Not at all! It's a good idea to see for sure what's causing it. Lots of luck to you and Leroy.

Not paranoid. It's quite an odd behaviour that you don't see in most young kitties so its best for peace of mind.

I don't think you're being paranoid at all - there's something that's making Leroy do that. Have they checked his throat and back of his tongue to see if there's something there that's not supposed to be? The only time I've ever seen something close to that with any of my cats was when they had a hair stuck in their throat. It didn't take much for them to cough it out - Leroy can't seem to cough it out...

You are not being paranoid! You are doing what all good beans do by checking things out especially since it is a new behavior that Leroy has never done before. Hope things go ok and it is nothing.

No you are not being paranoid. As someone else suggested I would have them check the back of the tongue and throat. Could he have gotten into string, yarn or anything like that?
Also a good x ray would be in order. What a beautiful cat and he looks very well cared for. The other cat is very pretty too.

Nope. My place has been Leroy-proof after his second trip to the ER @-)

:lol: Leroy just likes to be in the center of attention. Must be an Aby thing. Emma is fine off on her own. She's not needy like Leroy is.

So Dr. B has an opening next Wednsday afternoon but I can't make it :? I had signed up for a class on how to minimize pain in wrists/arms/hands (I have screwy wrists, possibly carpal tunnel) weeks ago and it was rescheduled from this past Tuesday to next Wednesday. I'm waiting to hear back on what other days I can bring Leroy in.
