Happy Thanksgiving Eve LL,

I've got a furry, purry happy boy who woke me up an hour early for breffis. I'm not liking these high AM numbers lately and I think I need to tinker around more with feeding to bring Leo's AMPS down, he seems to double dip if I feed at +8 and +9 but that would involve me getting up at 2 or 3 in the morning...... :roll:

Breffis consumed and more was asked for, CPC status achieved! Way to go Leo! cat_pet_icon

Thanksgiving dinner with the fam today, so road trip for Leo and Tracy again, thank goodness he's a good co-pilot. Maybe he'll catch some mice and share with everyone. :lol:

Morning Tracy, I have the same problem with Maggie's AMPS and food. Happy Thanksgiving, but did I miss something? Celebrating early? Have a wonderful time, and I know Leo looks forward to it. Go catch some mice Leo.

Hi guys - good luck with teh food schedule... not too sure I'd want to get up then an feed either. maybe a timed feeder? Would he use it? Mannie kind of ignores his.. :roll:

I have had to play around with Simon's feeding schedule at night too because his AMPS are always higher. What seems to be working is giving him 2 small meals during the night, one at +6 and the other at +8. I don't know why that works better than 1 meal at +8 for Simon. And of course, what works today may not work tomorrow. I use an automatic feeder so I don't have to get up.

Happy road trip today and also Happy Thanksgiving! I forgot that Canada celebrates earlier than the U.S.
 
Hi Tracy, thanks for explaining it's your Canadian Thanksgiving. Have a wonderful time with the family. Is Leo's suitcase all packed? :-D Have a safe trip.

OT - I thought of Leo today.. I was sitting outside while Charlie (our lab) was watching squirrels and he started rooting around in the flower bed by me. Suddenly out pops a huge rat running right for me. I screamed and the rat turned around and Charlie got him. Yay! The only thing is he won't eat rats (only mice, rabbits, and squirrels) so I had to dispose of the body.

Nice day for Leo!!! I prolly won't be up when you head for the dentist but prayers all goes super and it's a quick cleaning and he's home pronto!!

thanksgiving is good! i knew it was the canadian thanksgiving because i have a wonderful friend who is canadian! i feel so educated! :lol:
