What to say about yesterday... What a wonderful amps - YAY! I wonder though how low he went during the night before - I suspect we hit the greens again, back to back cycles. Yesterday has been a slow rise to the yellows, a sure sign that he is into one of his"resting days" after a few runs in the greens. Well - at least he is in the yellow, and not that "other color" . Think Blue, think green Mannie. Maybe with a 205 maps tis morning he can. You can do it! Your bean is proud of you! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. When DGS comes to spend the day he always arrives with his travel blanket. It is the nicest, softest cuddliest double fleece thing. Mid afternoon I found Mannie curled up in the middle of it. :shock: and no way would he move. :lol: :lol: later on last night I couldn't find Mannie at all. silly bean! :roll: There he was on top of the bunny and the kitty friends. :lol: :lol: :lol: He was so snuggled in that you couldn't really tell he was there. I can see the thought process: DGS plays with my nanners, I get his bunny and kitties. You gotta love it! :razz: :razz: and the whacking is back - every meal and test yesterday - the two girls, BJ and Elsa, were at it over the water dish. sheshhhh.... why over the water dish - water was flying everywhere. :-x :roll: :lol: :lol: Can't they whack each other somewhere else? Guess not! The morning here has been fairly normal - YAY! We have the kitty choir, though Mannie did opt out, preferring to reclaim his nanners, and well - the whacking was still going on, and the test feed shoot? good, and still under the watchful eye of BJ, who does she best to make sure the bean doesn't mess up and hurt her brother. You gotta love that too. Breffis consumed with gusto, clean plate club intact, napping is in order... so so dark out there: napping required! Normalcy in MannieLand.

I am on DGS duty for the entire week, for the next two weeks. YAY! a week of Nicholas. . :? :razz: I am hoping for a river visit today- they are his favorite. Please let the weather be good! ... I know I won't be able to get to condos - I do miss you guys! Do know though that I am thinking of you all - and your furkids! THINK GREEN KITTIES!

Kitties!!! OH BOY!! I had such fun yesterday - all those leaf piles!! we need to do that again. Ummmmmmmm..... what to do today. It is so cold and wet and windy and dreary - maybe we could just hang out and snuggle in fleece blankets and drink hot toddys and stuff... and maybe make some cinnamon cupcakes or sumthing... What'd'ya guys think? ~~ Mannie

And completely OT: Yesterday I took Nicholas to Seattle to meet my former co-workers. After that we visited the Freeway park in Seattle. Here are a few photos form that adventure.

Almost back to blue there, Mannie, that's the way to do it. The rain has made it's way down to here, I can hear my big water urn filling from the eaves as I type. I hope you find something to occupy Nicholas on such a wet day.

Mannie, this feels like a great day to bake! We can come up w/ all sorts of new stuff for the parties. Think we can find somewhere w/ a fireplace for a nap later, too? -- Tess

Mannie...off to Tess's but then we can come here .....we don't need the fireplace...it's beautiful....warm in the sun but not too hot!!! Perfect to stretch out on the pool deck and sleeppppp!! Or play!

Yay Blue! Good job Mannie! Lucky coworkers got to meet DGS yesterday. I bet they all really enjoyed that. Too cute with Mannie and the bunny, and I totally get the baby blanket thing. When we first found the kittens, I went out and bought baby blankets for their box we kept them in and to this day, they still sleep on those. Even the drooler sleeps on the one on my bed when they aren't using it. They really are the best. I hope the weather lets you get to the river today. Keep up the good work Mannie!

Hi Michelle, it looks like gave you and Nicholas a pass today. Looks like mannie is coming down to blue. So cute with Nicholas taking off his shoes and socks, bet it felt good for him, freedom! Is he walking? He looks pretty steady there even though he's holding on; enjoy your day. Glad to hear that BJ and Elsa are doing the kitty choir and whacking. Nice and funny comedy hour there in the mornings.

Thanks all for the visit! I am so behind tonight, so please forgive the shortness of this update... DGS and I had a great time today - we went to the Arboretum in Seattle, had a great little hike, and some time by a pond where Nicholas could play and explore a little. It was great. And Mannie was more than cooperative - a nice mid-level blue surf today. Not too bad.... We hope for some greens tonight.

Hi Ann, and Tess - Seems blue was the color today - nice! he did OK while we were gone. DGS and I went to the arboretum - raining alot, but we went anyways - there are enough trees in some spots that I could let him explore a little without getting too wet. sorry for sending the rain....

Hi Marje - he found blues!! GO MANNIE. Elsa is doing OK - it is not cancer, just impacted anal glands. Now i need to decide if I want to remove them or not - $1400.00 to do so. I may have them check the glands again to see if they are still blocked, and if so, then we may not have a choice. and YES on DGS.

Hi Anne - thanks for the visit!!! I hope Muffin is well. Oh yes on teh baby blankets. I can see why Mannie likes it so much. It is very very soft. and yes - my co-workers did enjoy the visit. First time that they had seen DGS. It was a fun trip!

Hi Ann and Miss Maggie - yep - got another pass, and I'm also more comfortable leaving Mannie for a while when he is blue. I know he will be fine. Yep on DGS's shoes and socks - he really likes barefoot. and not yet on the walking: he pulls himself up, moves a little that way, but no walking yet.

How great that you and Nicholas had a good day today at the arboretum. And Mannie had some good blues. Too funny about his taking possession of Nicholas' blanket and toys. But it's perfectly logical to a cat: if he gets to play with my 'nanners, I get to play with his bunny and kitties!

Sorry to get to your condo so late. I was out all day and then busy with the basil harvest. I hope that you will have a nice, sunny day tomorrow for your excursion. We had a gorgeous day today (after murky weather for the last 5 days).

Hi Ella - Mannie did - I was grateful, as then DGS and I could head on out for a while. The Arboretum was nice - I will have to take him back there again. And yes on the blankets and the toys - it is almost too funny. Noe Nicholas comes into the kitchen for Mannie's test, just watches.. and no worries on the condo. it is so late before I can get to anyone's anymore... so I completely understand.

heeheee it only sounds fair to me that if mannie has to share his nanners, nicholas has to share his soft fuzzy things! mannie is being very civil about the arrangement!
