Good Morning All,

Well this is the lowest number i've ever shot, now that i'm kinda out of my sleepiness i'm thinking i should have stalled to see if its a dropping number.....but i didn't, so i guess there will be no BTB for me this morning.

Leo had a good test, shoot and feed this morning, i fed him some FF elegant medley 10% for breffis and am now the bestest mommy in the world!! Big difference from last night when he wouldn't even look at me and at one point i got growled at. His ears were really bothering him last night and i put some topical benadryl on his sores, well he proceeded to scratch them, pawed at them, lick them and i tried my best to stop it......that's when i got growled at. So today i'm going to buy a cone for him to wear so he won't scratch after putting the cream on, he's going to be even more angry with me!!!!

His wrist seems to be alot better today, no more limping. I made him take it easy yesterday so that probably helped.

A +1 would be good so you'll know where he's going. He hit high 40s yesterday so he might be going back there today.

Wow on the 68! Yes, no more btb for you! I hope Leo does better today with his ears and I know he is going to look oh so lovely with a cone on his head.

Well his +1 is definitely a food spike.

I am definitely going to take some pictures of Leo with a cone on his head just as soon as he gives me permission to head to Petsmart to buy one!!!

Wow, look at Leo this morning. Glad he's feeling better and can't wait to see the pic. Good idea with the cone though. The FF Elegant Medleys should help him rise.

How about getting him a soft collar cone type? Much more comfy than the plastic & doesnt seem to bother them--One is sold in petco, look on the internet for soft cat cone collars--Amazon.com has some --Hope you can get Leo a comfy one!!

:lol: :lol: Well Roni i'm not sure about the BOS (i looked it up!) i think it was more.....its 6 am and i just woke up 3 minutes ago and am not thinking properly!!

I wonder where i can get a soft collar? We don't have a Petco here, just Petsmart and Petland and when i googled last night i found an e-collar on petsmart's website. I was also thinking about buying Leo some nail tips just so he doesn't do much more damage to his poor ear.

Yep i've got a ton of strips, HC and nothin but time ;-)

Leo just had another nibble of 10% about 20 minutes ago so we should be fine for another hour or so.

See....its not so bad. Leo doesn't mind wearing it, except the first chance i left the room he houdini'd his way out of it! :lol:

It looks like one of those airplane pillows :lol:

WOW! look what I missed today - what awesome numbers for Leo. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: It has been such a good day for him. Nice 'hooting too!

I love the cone - too funny that he houdini'd his way out of it. no dummy there. Keep the collar on Leo - it will help your ear get better.

Wow...been away all day. Look at those numbers. Nice day, Leo, despite that nasty ole' cone! Yes, he does, indeed, look thrilled....

I got the cone today at Petsmart, its pretty neat. He had a nice nap today resting his little head on his cone.

His ear....i have no idea what's wrong with it, took him to the vet last week and she said she thought it was flea bites, its not going away tho and he's scratched it so badly that its swollen, scabby and red. I've been putting topical benadryl on it, but he just scratches, paws and licks it off so i bought a cone. I talked to Georgia about it and it sounds very much like what Simon has......same area, but she has no idea what's wrong with Simon either. I ordered some Omega 3 fish oil capsules for cats and will try that. Also, i'm cutting out the Sophisticat stuff he started eating around the same time the itching started as well as the Purebites Shrimp.......it could be allergies but i have no idea. I'm grasping at straws here, even when we were at the vet on friday night she had no idea what was wrong with his ear either and said give the topical benadryl a whirl and she will call us tomorrow to see how he's doing.

Poor Leo! It looks like the kitty cone is comfy at least. I hope his ears heal soon! I put a kitty collar on Willie once... one of the plastic cones. He kept trying to jump out of it. Was quite the sight!! :lol: :lol: At least he's having beautiful numbers today!!

Now, Leo... Auntie Christie adores you. She does. But the mousing lessons must stop, or I'm not sure if Willie can play with you anymore! Or can you at least convince him to keep the mice outside??? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

That kitty cone looks pretty comfy. It does kind of resemble those neck pillow thingys. I like the color. Sure hope you can get the skin issues resolved. It must be so frustrating. Sending some feel better vines for Leo.

That cone does look like a portable pillow. And Leo used it as one. Smart kitty! I don't know what to say about the ear scabs. Have you tried Witch Hazel? It soothes and may take down some of the swelling. I use Thayer's Witch Hazel, which is pure and good for all sorts of skin things (you can find it in the health-food stores and in better pharmacies).

I admire you for your first-responder capabilities and mind-set. My nephew is a fire chief, EMS, and first responder in the small town he lives in and he, too, would never hesitate going into a fire/catastrophe. All you people are awesome.

Great amps for Leo today. BOS indeed!!

What a cool collar!!! I really am a crappy bean for only gettin binks the plastic one when he needed it! :lol:
