Yesterday's Mousetastic excitement!

It was tough falling asleep. Quite the raucous match of kitty croquet in the back yard, with Tess explaining her rules to all the new kitties, Gracie sampling everything that came off the grill before it went out to the masses, and Willie, Rusty and Mannie rotating from the grill to mouse patrol. Things finally got quiet... I can only assume they were off fountain crashing.

Willie was all full of energy last night after the mouse adventure and roamed the house much of the night. He also couldn't decide whether to cuddle with the bean or his dear aunt. what is a cat to do?!?

As for the poor mouse, Julie's response had me in stitches this morning...

I caught up with Willie catching the mouse while reading your condo early this morning, so funny, and your sis to the rescue. Is Willie still looking for the mouse? I'll bet the mouse hit the road fast! Looking good today, Willie. Your dinner for DS sounded so good last night, too.

I have been gone for several days but loved the mouse hunting tale too cute and very nice numbers for Willie

I took the decrease the other night after his too low to shoot 48 last night. We're at s0.5ish (always so hard to get right!) and this dose always frustrates me. He gets low enough in his cycles to justify keeping the dose this low, but his pre-shots are in the 130s to 150s. I know this is akin to the "skinny *****" dilemma (a/k/a the "I just can't eat enough calories to not lose weight" problem), but I'd just like to see him spending all his time below 120.

I ended up playing hooky this afternoon from work and took DS to lunch and did some shopping. We had a good day and got tons more free/cheap cereal for charity. Once again, we're learning the difference between windows and doors. Willie has absolutely loved having DS here the past couple days and has been enjoying the beautiful weather as well. I was going around closing windows tonight (temps in the 40s overnight!!), and called out to him. He was outside and came bounding up to the window. And then proceeded to get cranky because he couldn't just come in through the window. :lol: :lol: :lol: He has now assumed the bedtime cuddles position and we are off to ni ni!
