8/23 Leo AMPS 112, +2 84, +3 68, +5 83, +11 94, PMPS 95

Morning All,

All is excellent in LeoLand, we had a good test, shoot, feed this morning, and now Leo is outside in his favorite mousing spot.

DGp kittysat yesterday while the sister and I went out for the day, DGp said Leo was in a very foul mood yesterday with lots of growls, bites and scratches for all tests yesterday. Leo did kill a weasel yesterday and tried to bring him into the house, there was no attempt to try and eat it.......THANK GOD!!! Then shot time rolled around and Leo was no where to be found, both grandparents looked for Leo for 2 hours before they found him sitting outside under some trees, of course they had walked by him numerous times and Leo didn't make a peep. Had i known his shot would be 2 hours late, i would have just told my dad to forget about it, but he got his needle anyway. So DS and i showed up about an hour after the whole missing kitty incident and Leo was sweet as pie, lots of headbutts, purrs and kitty smooches, i wonder if he was pissy cause he thought i abandoned him? Anyway Leo had a good sleep with me under the blankets and DGp said it was a different cat when Leo rolled outta bed this morning. His words were "he was a very good cat this morning". :lol:

Oh boy... but what a great WCR. poor DGp... I can just see him looking everywhere for Leo, when he is right under his nose. somehow that is too funny. Mannie has done that to me on occasion.... he always shows up later with that "so what did you want look". sheesssshhhh...

Nice start for Leo sounds like he was misbehaving for his sitters yesterday and knew he could get away with it cats are so smart :roll:

Hi guys .. very nice numbers for leo today .. sorry to hear he gave his DGp's a hard time yesterday .. but like lisa said, probably did it cause he knew he could get away with it :lol: sneaky cats!

hahaha funny report on leo! what a guy!

i had an indoor cat, TC, in an apt on a busy street. i'd get home from work and she would always be in the window, waiting for me. one time she wasn't, and i went all around the GIANT apt looking for her - 1 bedroom, probably 400sq ft, calling her, totally couldn't find her. then i happened to look up as i went through a door - she was on top of the edge of the open bedroom door. i'd been looking around on the floor and behind things and there she was on that door, and i swear she was laughing at me. probably high point of her day! :lol: geez i loved that cat.

another time, just cuz i'm on a tc story roll, i came in after work - she wasn't in the window. i called her and i heard the 911 yowl in response. followed the yowl and she had somehow gotten stuck, face down, behind the hot water heater in the utility room. same apartment. i had to stick my arm behind the water heater, which was HOT, and in a corner, grab her and slide her upwards til her butt popped out on top of the heater.

OHMYGOSH I loved that cat!!!! i found her abandoned when she was not even weaned - a sweet little tuxedo girl who wanted to suck on my earlobes! she lived to 16 - from my senior year in college though my youngest being 3 years old. i guess it's been 16 years now since she passed away. i still miss her. you know how some cats are "extra" - she was like that.

sorry for taking up your condo with tc stories! leo made me think of her. i'm sure he was laughing at your folks too!

He must have thought you left him again. Poor guy. Glad he is better now. Tarragon will do that. He will sit in a place that is unusual for him and as I go through the house checking his normal spots he doesn't make a peep. I swear he is laughing at me the whole time.

Oh my, your Leo is a character. He gave me a good laugh with his shenanigans with your DGp. It took me a while to figure out who is DGp was until I remembered your Dad kitty sits. What a little rascal and catching a weasel, too! You must live out in the country, right! Well, Leo is making up for it today with pretty greens. Have a nice day/afternoon.

Awww no problem Julie, i love hearing kitty stories....your TC sounded like a little sweetie. I had a cat growing up named Herman that i loved like that, he was definitely a character as well.....just like Leo is now We had him until he was 18, so we pretty much grew up together, Herman and I. I miss him all the time, just thinking about him brings a smile to my face.

Ann, my parents live on an acreage.....i live in an apt in the city, and yes DGp means grandpa!!

Yup, they like to befuddle us! Stu used to hide in a bush 10 feet from the door and we could never find him, even when we looked in that bush!! Then, when he wanted to, he would just stroll out. Rusty doesn't play these games. He always wants to be with us!
