:shock: wow on that 67 this morning... got my attention... so I retested and got a 71. In theory this is up, so I went ahead and shot the 67/71. It looks like Mannie indeed recovered well from his bounce yesterday, and wanted to be a green kitty again - no more of "that other color". Way to go Mannie! I fed this with 5% LC - it worked well the other day, giving Mannie a nice even green surf, so we shall give it a try again this morning. Surf Well Mannie - your bean lubs ya! cat_pet_icon having said that: NEWBIES: please do not shoot a number this low without advisement. I have lots of data on Mannie, know how he will react to foods, been there before, and test often! Numbers this low at onset require frequent testing....

All is well in MannieLand. He has been guarding his nanners faithfully, after Elsa's intrusion the other night. :lol: This morning he has them all lined up in a row - a mini mattress, and is camped out on top of the pile. No way is he going to let the others mess with his stash. :roll: :lol: The kitty choir must have wanted the night off - well at least the backup singers... all I got this AM was BJ, lead vocalist. :shock: Even that was half volume... she did not fail in her duty - got the bean up, got her focused enough to test feed and shoot. Way to go BJ! Breffis was a hit with the Manster: clean plate club status achieved at a blistering record breaking pace: done before I finished with the others. sheesshhh... :roll: :roll: Major face washing followed, nanner napping after that. yep, all is well in MannieLand. Life is good. and hey - no whacking! :shock: What is up with that?

That is how we did it in the old days--LC used for a nice green surf..We also free fed, so things have changed here in LL the last few yrs...You really have it down with Mannie--Looking Fabulous :mrgreen:

Do you go on those Hikes alone? hOW DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE GOING?? I'm just used to civilization, would be lost in the woods--(Lions & tigers & Bears OH MY!)--Guess you have it down pat.

Wow, nice shooting this morning and look how nice Mannie is doing on his own. The 5% lc seems to be just right to keep him surfing. Go Mannie! What beautiful pictures! You must have a great camera to get such vivid, clear awesome pictures. No wonder you love hiking so much! My nephew in Denver sends me photos online of his hikes, and I so enjoy hearing of his adventures and the pictures. Hey Mannie, guard those nanners today while your Bean is gone.

Hi Roni - hey thanks... there are times when I iwsh I could free feed, but alas: the civvies would eat it all, nothing would be left for the Manster. I think that he does better with a controlled feed anyways... dunno... he 5% seems to be OK - it has proven, so far, to keep him on a nice green surf, without going too ow. YAY! and hope that continues. -- and yes... a solo hiker... it's OK... I only do trail routes, easy to find and follow... not one to go off-trails in unmarked areas. uhhhhh... no..... :lol: :razz:

Hi Ann - hey - thanks on the photos - the camera is a good one, for a point and shoot. I like it, and it's compact enough not to be a pain when hiking. :razz: -- and that would be an affirmative on the nanners. :lol: :lol: -- what a surprise that amps was today. wow, and thanks - knew I could shoot it, and feed it, still a little freaky though.... He seems to be doing really well with just a 5%. YAY!

Hi Ella - ah yes... what a morning - sure did wake me up when I saw that 65 on the meter... had to do a double take, and retest... sure enough - 71 the second time around. OK... and off we went. But it was ok, even with the bounce - it was very short, and I did get to go to town without worrying about him, Thanks Mannie! -- The outlet portion of that lake i really very nice. I wish I could have put up more photos - there was a section that had lily pads, and water grass - just very pretty, hey - I even found some very small 1" in size frogs. too fun! -- oh no! did rusty get car sick??? I was so hoping he would make it this time. oh Rusty.... :?
