8/8 Champ PMPS 305, +2 199, +2 94, +3 49

Yesterday

I do believe Champ has decided to have a blue day!!! He deserves a break...and so do I!!! I'm going to give him a poke free day until time for PMPS (if I can curb my curiousity which is pretty much why I test so much!!!) I'll save myself some test strips and save him some aggravation.

Champ ate his 1st breakfast with no problem, but then refused his 2nd sitting at +1. I just left it out and told him to either eat it or don't eat it, whatever!! He held out until +3 and then, when I wasn't looking, ate it up. It was funny because I was just telling him I would throw it away and get him some fresh and then when I walked into the kitchen, his bowl was clean...when it had had food in it just five minutes prior!!! He's a ninja eater!!

I've got a killer workday today so visiting condos will have to wait!! Pooh!! I hope everyone has a really great day!!

I knew I wouldn't be able to resist checking his BG at least one more time this cycle. I just can't stand not knowing!!! He's still on his blue surf!!!

I haven't seen hide nor hair of Champ since this morning. I have an ironing board set up because I've been ironing all the curtains I want to hang in all the different windows in the house. I don't have anywhere to put the curtains after they're ironed where they won't get wrinkled again so I draped them over the iron board. So now Champ has a second super-secret-hiding-place!!! He's been sleeping underneath the ironing board, with all the curtains making like a tent around him, all day long. Ahh....the life of a cat!!

I cannot believe this number. It's been 15 days since we've seen this color. No wonder Champ is acting like he doesn't feel well!! He was sleeping in his carrier when I went looking for him for his test feed shoot. His carrier!!! The same one he fights getting into when it's time to go to the bad place!!! He's curled up in there like it's his feel-better place!! Hmmm. He wouldn't come out until I tipped it and then he wouldn't eat his dinner. I went ahead and shot him anyway and then sat on the floor and started to hand feed him. As soon as I was able to get him to taste it, he dug in like he was starved...which he probably was since he hadn't eaten much earlier in the day. I sure hope this is just a blah day for him and not a sign of something getting ready to rear its ugly head!!

Today has been a real bear with work so I'm off to work for another few hours. I hope everyone has had a good evening.

Awwww poor Champers, maybe he's just having an off day? I hope that 305 doesn't last long and he comes back down to normal Champ numbers.

Hi Patty - nice morning for Champ - I hope the PMPS is just indicative of an off day. We all have them. Feel better Champ! and I know on the not seeing that color for a while and then it just sort of pops i there. blech! Hoping here he rest of the cycle is better.
