i read them a lot, but it is confusing and there is a lot to try to grasp quickly. it's taken me a while for it all to sink in - now it seems obvious but i haven't forgotten how dense i felt at first.

Okay...now that I got him out of the 50's, let's see if we can just surf along now!!! He's had all the food he's allowed for his AM cycle so I hope he sleeps all day so I don't give him snacks!! I'm such a pushover!! :roll:

Back down to the 50's!! Champers is such a pooh!! I thought I could let him be poke free this afternoon. What's so amazing ,though, is that he came into my office at almost exactly +6 and when I bent down to pick him up for a snuggle, he turned around and led me into the kitchen where his testing stuff is, sat down, and waited...like he knew he was low and could I please hurry up and prove it so he could have some delicious MC food!!! :lol: :lol:

I actually had to wake the poor duder up for dinner!! He looked up at me with his sleepy blinky eyes amd I just wanted to hold him forever!!! Man, he's adorable. I've elevated his food bowl so it's more comfortable for him to eat, but he just wanted me to hold his bowl for him tonight so he didn't have to bend at all. I can do that. As much pleasure as that little guy gives me by just being alive, I can hold his dang food bowl for him!!!!

I'm going to have to have to go to the store for Champ food tomorrow. I bought the 24-can multipacks of FF last time while they were on sale at Target. They have the turkey & giblets, chicken feast, and beef feast. Well, Champ doesn't like the turkey & giblets so they're just piled up collecting dust. Now he has decided he doesn't want the chicken and will barely tolerate the beef. I really am wondering if this is because he's been getting MC or HC food a couple of times a day, just about every day, to raise his numbers. Well, tough nuts!!! If he thinks he's going to strong arm me into giving him the "good" food, he's got another think comin'!! I ran out of freeze-dried chicken and salmon to sprinkle on top and I have no seafood flavors in the house so I'm kinda screwed on getting him to eat until I get to the store. :roll: I think I'll talk to my neighbor about trading some food. She feeds her kitties FF classics so maybe the next time she's ready to buy food she can buy some of the flavors Champ likes and I'll trade her the turkey & giblets!!

Though I've been reluctant in the past to give Champ his earned reductions, I'm going to give him this one for one good reason. I just studied his SS to find out how often I'm having to give him MC or HC foods to bring him up. Since 6/29, he's only had three days where he didn't require MC or HC. That's ridiculous!! No wonder he's holding out for it. He knows he's going to be getting it sometime in the day, it's just a matter of when. I don't mind manipulating his food as to when he eats, but I have to draw the line at what he eats. I hope I don't regret it!!

Patty, just catching up on Champ's condo...Mr. Howell and Champ are the exact same way about the food, but Mr. Howell has only been eating it a week and he's already decided that Turkey&Giblets has got to go... :lol:
