First of all let me say I appreciate all your well wishes and concern for Sara. It means so much to have people support you when you are going through a rough time. It's nice to be around people that can relate. Some of the people I come across probably wonder why bother or I wouldn't go to those lengths. I don't know what I'd do without you! :YMHUG:

Also through Christie [and Willie] I think I have come across a DX. Pemphigus, an autoimmune disease. I did find a Dermatologist about 20 miles away. I have to wait till monday to make the appt. though. :-| Thanks Christie! I think I'm seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.

WCR Sara is basically hiding all the time now. I did her test/shoot this morning and am bring food over to her which she lapped all up. I think either it's on her feet too and it hurts to walk so she doesn't much or she just feels lousy not much like eating and wants to hide. [I'm sure she is hiding from me some too.] I found her cleaning herself or licking her wounds? when I brought her food to her. My poor baby's face. She looks so miserable and she has marks on her nose now too.

Just wanted to update you. She's definitely not getting better and I can't wait till monday morning to make an appt. She looks like she can hardly see or maybe the light hurts her eyes. Her #'s haven't been to awful 150-200.

We are most definitely keeping little Sara in our thoughts and prayers. I hope you can get in right away with the derm and he can get her started on the cyclosporine. It really is amazing altho we use the topical and not the oral but Gracie doesn't need it for the same thing that Willie and Sara have.

I know you are giving her lots of love.

You guys are still in our prayers. I hope you can get to see the dermatologist ASAP, and that he can help her ASAP...poor little Sara.

Celi, I don't think you could ever call Sara spunky, even before. :shock: She loves to lay in her special spots and look pretty. :smile: She just turned 17 on July 14th.

i didn't realize sara was feeling crummy - i'm so sorry! i hope she gets in on monday and you get some help for here immediately! hang in there! we're cheering for both of you.

Hi Jan & Sara,
I hope that you can get your appointment for early on Monday so that you can begin medication. We are sending tons of snowflakes and healing vines your way. Poor Sara must be so uncomfortable.
Perhaps, since you know what the condition is, you should go to the ER to get a head start on the medication.

Hugs for the pretty Miss ((((Sara.)))) I hope she begins to feel better very soon. Good luck with the dermatologist, I hope you can get an appointment ASAP. The hiding sounds like she just doesn't feel so well. But she is eating, so that is always a good sign.

Jan I am so sorry I am just now reading now how bad Sara is feeling I have not been visiting condos much lately so sending a ton of healing vines her way and best to you when you get her to the specialist
