Despite having a great PM cycle last night (+4.5~80), we're high again this morning. Suspecting the juice, and am having to jump through hoops to refill it. apparently, Willie's internal medicine vet is no longer with the speciality clinic where I took him. His former vet refused to prescribe the pens which is why the IM vet gave us the script. They now refuse to refill it b/c no doctor in IM has seen him (nevermind that he also has a cardiologist and a dermatologist there). So I'm having to call our new vet to see if they will issue the script. I'm pretty sure we're at or past day 28 of a pen that has been at room temp, so I'm a bit worked up and hoping I won't have to take him in, though if they'll see him today, I could actually get out of tbp early enough to make that happen. Nevermind that I thought the vet had given us 2 refills on the 5 pen script and we've only used 5 pens. *sigh*
Today was an early day at work (THE Secretary was here for a Q&A with employees. Big Doin's!!), so no spot checks this cycle. We'll make up for it tonight. Was awakened today with nose kisses and a few gentle paws to remind me it was time to get up. Of course, once he was fed and bidness done, I laid on the bed for a second only to have him come in for a cuddle session. Big purrs do not help a bean get out of bed!!
Okay, back to work for me... have a great day, everyone!
