Thanks for the BD wishes and for J.D. to come down.
I returned home from work, to see about 6 robins and about 8 blue jays (I don't know where the blue jays came from, never really noticed them before) all hanging around the bowl I fill with water for the wildlife. The first thing I did after I put down my purse was to investigate that water bowl and it was empty and dry (so why were they all hanging around a dry water bowl?). My first order of business was to find something else to fill with water, as it is sooooooo hot here. I passed robins panting and squirrels leaping around as I walked to my door. I found and used the styrofoam container that my insulin came in from Canada, and filled it with water along with the usual wildlife water bowl. J.D. went running out the door as soon as I opened it. But, alas, he is still in the pink
Ginger is screaming at me (and she can scream) to go outside, but it's like hell out there. I just don't feel comfortable allowing her out in that heat and me not sitting out there to watch her.
