Yesterday was a great day for Mannie - what a difference a day can make! I knew with his drop at +2 in the morning cycle that it would be a busy morning... and that it was! He found his green surf board early in the cycle, and managed to stay there for the rest of the cycle - AWESOME! The drop at +10 was a little un-nerving, so I did feed him some 10%, to bump him up a little for pmps. Evening cycle was nice too - low blues mostly. I fed him a 14% MC at pmps, just to be "safe" and give him a cushion for onset. We ended up with a low blue surf - not too bad. I wonder what he would have done had I fed an LC food at pmps - would we have stayed green? Well either way, it was a great day for the Nanner King! Well done Mannie! cat_pet_icon

:shock: :shock: it was bound to happen.... DGS found the Nanner Pile - the horrors!!! :shock: Fortunately the Nanner King was on his outdoor rounds patrol, and was unaware of the transgression... :roll: :roll: PHEW!!! and in all honesty? gross! The nanners were gently removed from tiny hands..... All else is well in Mannie Land. The rains of yesterday morning disappeared by mid afternoon :razz: , and in between pokies Mannie surveyed and patrolled his kingdom, making an occasional return to the indoors to use the LB. :roll: :roll: Shesshhhhhh.... all that wide open space out there, all that dirt, all those secluded spots, and he still comes in for the LB. :lol: :lol: CATS! This morning we had a great test feed shoot - all accompanied by purrs and leg rubs. We have rains yet again this morning... all that rain = sleepy kitties, and so they are... all in their spots, Mannie on the nanners, no doubt making sure there is no more tiny human smell..... :lol: :lol:

Today we continue our DGS sitting duties for the week - through Friday. I hope the weather improves, the rains stop, so that I can take him out on a short hike to a nearby waterfall. Paws are crossed that the sun shows... It is doubtful that I can get to condos today, maybe tonight - so sorry if I can't. Good morning Michelle! Sounds like Mannie had a great day yesterday! WooHoo. That +10 would have scared me a little as well. Glad the nanner king didn't know about DGS and his nanner stash. Yuck. They are awfully pretty though, especially with all that fur stuck to them (if yours are anything like ours). Right into the mouth. Blech.

Hi Melissa - It was a good one yesterday - very busy for the bean, but worth the effort it took to get him to surf green, and keep him level. and yes - that +10 was fun.... :? --- affirmative on the nanners... nirvana to Mannie, but omg: stained and fur covered and well: blech sums it up well... I couldn't get it out of Nicholas's hands fast enough... :lol: and oh yes - it would have been right into the mouth.... :? :? :? yep we will go out for a short one today, not the planned one - as it a raining hard there. so will stay local and deal with moderate rain. :lol: :lol: you can tell we are from the PNW when he talk about degrees of rain... sheshhhhh.....

I loved BigMac's party menu. He is already drooling over the Ham and red-eye gravy. Did I ever mention that when I eat a ham sandwich I have to eat standing up and keep moving?
He will climb up whatever furniture is nearby just to lick or snatch a bite. Silly boy. He never gets fed table scraps so I guess he just can't help his natural cravings.

And don't get me started on the day I had a salami sandwich. I had to go outside. BWAHAHAHAHA!! (My DH probably encouraged BigMac to chase me out.) :shock:

Hi Karrie - so agreed.... His nanners are always in this one spot. I may seriously have to coach him into keeping them somewhere else... though I suppose that when DGS truly begins to crawl, nowhere will be safe. Mannie needs a nanner force field. :lol: Oh I know on the first time all three of the participants are in the same local.... I can only imagine. DGS class on "how to pet a kitty" is an ongoing session... :roll:

Hey CD - omg on the ham and the salami! Mannie's weakness is beef and chicken - he just comes unglued over beef. it is the same thing - we have to leave, or remove Mannie from the room. What is with these cats? :lol: :lol: Too funny isn't it... -- YAY on the menu. that was an "omg do I have enough time" this morning, as I usually try and think it through the day before so I can sort of put something together that makes sense for the locale. Funny though, this one just came together in a few minutes, things just seem to fit... especially the ham and red-eye gravy. :lol: -- and yes - the video camera will be ready.... stars: Mannie, DGS, Nanners... Hi Michelle, I have to laugh with Mannie coming inside to use the lb toilet! He just wants to do his business inside, Mom Bean! :lol: Oh my with DGS and the nanners; good thing Mannie didn't see it! Definitely a nice sunny surf today. Did Mannie even smell anything different with his nanner pile? That would be a video I would want to see -- your DGS and Mannie with the nanners. Hope you were able to get outside a little today.

Things were hectic everywhere this morning. I think you need a new playpen, but with the nanners inside and Nicholas outside! :lol: W/ nice cat sized openings of course. That PMPS is looking much more promising!

Mannie! I'm so glad we were going to Rusty's, Aunt Ellabean's kitchen is great! We got lots of layers baked, everyone did one! I hope the others got the note to bring more layers. We want Big Mac's Stacked cake to be the biggest ever! I think we got everything cleaned up, do you think she'll notice all the raspberries are gone? I though we could do some layers w/ them instead of all applebutter. -- Tess

Because reading Mannie's condo everyday is the highlight of my day, I always make sure to visit. I always read with interest your recap of what his numbers were the previous day and, because of that, I just never thought to click on his SS link. Well, I did tonight and it was very interesting. Firstly, because I just realized that Mannie and Champ are now on the same dose and, secondly, their SS look a lot alike (I think). Mannie has had more red, though he doesn't get them very often, but the cycles of blues/greens followed by pinks/yellows looks so familiar!! You're an education in patience so I'm going to take a page from your book and just enjoy my cat!!!

Hi patty - WOW, and thanks, for everything.... I think they are similar too... some really good stuff, and then you get these "off days", then back to the good stuff (if you want something really scary - go back to 2009....). I keep hoping that one day it will all level out and be good stuff all the time, then maybe we can think about someday being off the juice. maybe... the one thing this sugar dance has taught me is patience... and then more patience... and more after that.... and in between we try and do the best that we can with what these sugar cats give us. Their love is unconditional, I just try and give that back.
