WOW, and what to say about yesterday... We started out in bounce mode.... Deciding, based on Mannie's SS, that I had been given a permission slip to head on out, I went hiking. , expecting Mannie, again based on SS, to be a yellow kitty. But noooooooooooooooooo, I came home to a 78. :shock: Wonderful!, but what a surprise. I truly wonder how low he went... since he had such a spike at his +2 last night, and well a nasty bounce this morning. :roll: well well well..... MANNIE! please tell your liver that we know he is there, no need to make such a statement, and can we please exit the red floor??? Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand.... it is a foggy morning here today, cool at 55, and all the kitties are in sleep mode. major sleep mode.... no kitty choir: not one peep. :shock:, no civvie whacking: not even one glare or stare-down , not even any meows for breffis! :shock: What is up with that???? How boring! :lol: :lol: Last night though at pmps - I did have to laugh.... Mannie always knows when he is green, when he needs to eat. I got home just before fuds time... In the midst of getting his shot ready, dishing out he fuds, placing his bowl in his spot, the boy was on the move. On his way to his dish he whacked the civvies several times - it seems they were in his path. Not just one whack, three or four per civvie... Poor civvies.... :roll: After all that, after all had eaten, Mannie walks over the BJ and proceeds to wash her head, her face. ahhhh Mannie..... what a guy. And the nanners? They are back to being his mattress, with one for a pillow. :razz:

With another permission slip given this morning I am off for lunch in a few hours with an friend I haven't seen in a long time, and then coffee with the usual Tuesday afternoon group. YAY, and fun!! OK Mannie... this is a permission sip, yes? I don't have t read the fine print now do I?

Aww Mannie, what are you doing up there, but looks like he is on his way down, Michelle. So funny with the civvie whacking and then the washing BJ's face. I guess this is Mannie's way of making up, cute! That was a real surprise yesterday with the 78 bg! We can never second guess the cat! Enjoy your lunch today. I am doing the same in meeting a good friend. Mannie, now no surprises today.

Hi Angela - oh yeah - bummer on the red, but at least he is coming down... almost yellow now. THX on the photos. I am lucky - so many gorgeous places here to visit. It is nice to see too that those "in charge" do what they can to preserve them. yep - cool we are - we are lucky - only 55 so far....

And BJ let him do it: eat crow there Mannie! In all seriousness - those two really do get along great. and I know on never second guess your kitty - yesterday was a case in point! I sure hope there are no surprises when I get home today. Paws crossed!

I LOVE those pictures. You are so fortunate to have places like that to visit so close to home. While you're sitting there with your 55 degree weather, it's already in the 80s at 6 a.m. here, and almost 110 in the afternoon!!!! I may have to move one of these days!!

Mannie and the chivvie whacking gets me every time!! I seriously laugh out loud when I read your stories!! :lol: :lol:

Oh Mannie!! You know, Michelle, when I saw that rise last night, I, too, wondered if he'd gone a lot lower during the day. I'm with you on this bounce this morning. Mannie Mannie...you gave your bean permission...no reneging!!

Boy I'd sleep, too, if it were 55 in the summer. Mannie does have a way of showing his displeasure (whacking girls at dinner) and pleasure (bathing BJ after). He's ......well, he's Mannie!!

Hi Melissa - I KNOW - what in the world is going on..... I will have to investigate that plot angle... they could be leading up to something. --- and yep, got a permission slip with no fine print - and came home to yellow, which is what I expected yesterday... :roll: we've had a slow slide down, so maybe that is good, and he will have a great PM cycle. -- and THX on the photos - it is a very pretty place. I can't wait for late august and September when I can go further north - those are 10 times better than this one - phenomenal, and I am very lucky!

Hi Marje - I believe he did - go alot lower during the day, and that 78 was on the way up. Somehow that +2, and then the +5.5, were sure signs.... no real surprise that he bounced as high as he did this morning.... in a way I feel guilty about yesterday - I could have dealt with the low, as I would have found them - I test enough that I know I would have... oh well. I hope he'll settle down tonight and we move forward. we have a slow slidage so far... we shall see what pmps is, and what he, and that stoopid liver, decide to do. -- thanks on the photos - it is worth the trek to get to these places... but the water - I am with you: love love love the water! -- funny isn't it -how he shows his moods: good bad like of dislike... that's my boy!

Hi Lisa - that is is... that reds was a bit much. So so glad it is gone, anti-jinx! And yep - a very nice place to hike... it was fun: I did about 12.5 miles, 2500 elevation gain. The trail follows the river and the falls for most of the hike - just very nice!

Hi Mannie, thanks for visiting me today and bringing the crew and all that delicious food! The raspberries & ice cream were great. Can you come again tomorrow? Blueberries are ripe now. We have some in my yard. We can pick them before the birds get them!

Hi Ella - Yep - it was a nice time. It's god to head into town, spend some time with friends, former co-workers. Lunch was at anew place, with good food, but very very noisy!
