Interesting day for Mannie yesterday. A bouncy AM cycle, with my second least fav color - pink - running the show. It was a pleasant surprise when Mannie made green during the PM cycle... A little fast, but it still was nice to see. Guess he missed the greens so much that he wanted to get back fast. It was equally as nice to see such a short-lived bounce. Way to go Mannie - your bean is proud of you! cat_pet_icon I really wasn't too sure what we'd see this morning. What a pleasant surprise to see the 136.

All is well in MannieLand. :razz: Yesterday was a day of sleeping and chillin'. It had been along day for him the day before - so many pokies, so much disturbed sleep. :roll: I am not too sure how thrilled he was when we had our mini poke-fest last night, but he took it in stride. Another one of those nights where I left him, after our last pokie, sleeping on the nanners. And that is where I found him this morning, still wrapped around a few, sleeping on top of the rest. We had a good test feed shoot this morning - all was met with purrs loud enough to break the sound barrier.... :shock: :razz: Clean plate club status maintained, even with Wellness Chicken. I kept getting this stop and stare "what is this slop??" look while he was eating. :lol: :lol: But he did finish... and the kitty choir? Asleep on the job! :shock: :shock: I have no clue what woke me up in time - it certainly wasn't the alarm clock... nor the kitty choir... maybe it was ESP vibes being transmitted from grumbling empty kitty stomachs... :razz: and no civvie whacking either! They all sat there in silence, and waited for fuds to be served... all but Mannie who was in major loud purr mode. Yep, life is good, all is well in MannieLand.

Have a great day everyone! I had hoped to hike today, but with a 136 I just didn't think it wise to take off and be gone all day. Besides... it was supposed to be sunny there, but low and behold: clouds, and the radar shows the rains on their way... looks like I will hike the shoreline here this morning - YAY!: a decent substitute.

Morning Michelle, it sounds like you need another White Chocolate Mocha. I missed your pj party. After I saw that yellow, I did wonder what Mannie had planned for you! You both must be so tired. I'm staying home today, too, except for a walk and maybe a short trip to the store. I hope you can get some cat naps in today.
You must be like me and wake up early regardless of how tired we are - it's rare I can ever sleep in any more!

I fed this with a 11% MC, as it is early in the cycle for Mannie. I will check him @ +3.5

Hi Angela -thanks! Never a dull moment here... thx too on the hike here - it will be good, once I can get out and do one! That was a huge drop for Mannie at his +3, and I need to make sure he levels out before I head on out. I hope I can still beat the incoming rains! I will send you all our extra - we have platy to go around! :lol:

Hi Ann - oh yes on the white chocolate mocha... I took care of that after Mannie's +1 :lol: :lol: I know on last night... I wasn't too sure, just really didn't think he'd do the green thing. No complaints, just wow! so yeah... up later than I had planned, a little fatigued this AM. A walk will take care of that, once I can get out and do that... Gotta get Mannie to surf first though.... and yes - I do wake up early - no matter how tired I am... sleeping just doesn't happen anymore. Too many years of being an early riser I guess. :lol: :lol:

Maggie - YAY! Sounds like a plan - road trippin'! We can go and visit Rusty - he is alone for a while today. Then some pools someplace... so many kitties are SO HOT!

That's a nice drop for Mannie. Blackie does the same thing, too, drop like Mannie's doing. I have my kit out, just in case, though. Nice catch!

Good thought to cancel the hike although sorry you had to. Mannie is really going to town today!!! Love him sleeping on his nanners. You know they're tired when they are in the exact same spot you left them several hours before. I'm so happy to see him doing so well. I predict you've seen the last of the stinkus pinkus bounces....it's all blue and green from here on out Mannie...you hear that?

And thanks on the getting out - it's OK. Disappointed a little, but we just try again on another day. I would gladly share some our rain - as I watch it fall. I know how badly you and a few other states really need it. Such record heat and no rains... I read about your garden - so sorry about that. What a shame. I sure do hope that things get better!

Hi Marje - darn +10/11 spike!! He's headed back down... now we wait to see how far down. In all honesty - I hope it is blue... not another night of pokies through +7... please. +5 is good, surf then and mama can deal without feeling really zonked... and yeah - i know on the getting out, but it's OK. I did get to the shore for a low tide walk for a few hours, which was nice. It was raining, but ok there too.
