J.D. was blue all night last night. I'm not used to him being blue for such a long string of time. I was worried about giving his full dose this morning, as I have to go back to work today.
I will leave lots of yummy food out.
Because I forgot to give him his Cosequin yesterday morning, I gave him a capsule last night, and then again this morning another capsule. I hope that is okay.
Ginger finished her 1/4 can of FF real quick and went down to raid J.D.'s with the Cosequin in it, so I picked her up and gave her another 1/4 can of FF which she ate real quick and jumped down again and finally finished J.D.'s breffis. I don't know why she likes that Cosequin so much.

Nice start for J.D.!

I think you're OK with what you did with the cosequin. As per my vet's instructions, I've been giving my Mario a capsule in the morning and a capsule in the evening for a couple months, although at this point I'm going to back off the dosing a bit since he's well past the "loading dose" stage and see how things go. But from what I've read, you can adjust the dose up or down as needed, and its side-effects are very minimal.

However...I was just reading that it can cause some digestive upset. Maybe that's why J.D. has had some issues as of late??? Just a thought...

Yes, Cosequin is for arthristis. His vet says his back legs are creeky. He takes like 15 looong seconds to sit down.
But, when he assumes the position for testing, he goes right into it.

All left out FF was eaten, when I returned home from work. Kitties have just gone outside. And, J.D. is taking a bath on the porch
