Mannie started out in bounce mode yesterday morning... Seems he didn't care for that very much, cleared it fairly quickly, and ended up with a decent PM cycle, posting nice low blues. so close to green.... almost made it! Maybe today Mannie? Nice recovery yesterday! cat_pet_icon now if I just knew what is up with that +2? :shock: :roll:

Fireworks started early here, yesterday evening: lots of bangs, lots of exploding color. :shock: Mannie could have cared less - he slept through it all. :roll: :lol: The nanners won out over holiday celebrations. :lol: :lol: All is well in MannieLand this morning. Kitty choir was in full force this morning, although they were all waiting at the top of the stairs... and not in my bed. YAY! I was spared the claws in the face portion of the morning wake-up serenade. We had minor civvie whacking: BJ has yet to learn that there should be no nose to nose before breffis is served. We had a good test, feed shoot: all was greeted with purrs and head rubs. It's been a good morning for the boy. Napping now in progress, after the Nanner King gave those nanners a vigorous workout of chews and slobbers and hugs and cuddles.... Normalcy.

What a morning this has been. Stoopid upgrade went in last night for this stoopid 'puter... damn thing broke this and that - or so we discovered when we went to boot it up and nothing worked.... so we had to do a system restore to take it back before the upgrade. ****sigh**** not what I wanted to be doing at 5AM.... with no on board..... and now to disable to upgrade.... I so need a new 'puter!! :YMSIGH: :YMSIGH: :sad: :twisted: :razz: :razz: well now - the rest of the day has to be better.... hmmmmmmm, let's see: a sunny morning, off for an early morning walk before all the holiday folks invade the tiny small beach here....

My friends!!!!!!!! It is the 4th of July! We need to celebrate!! BBQ, cookout, grillin', the works!! You guys in???? I gots ribs, and brisket and chickens and fishes and everything! What'd'ya think? ~~ Mannie

Morning Michelle and what's up, Mannie with that +2? Maggie is also having a strange bg day, and I'm almost afraid to take her reading. Her ear just did not want to cooperate this morning. Glad to hear the kitty choir was practicing and whacking in session, too. Oh my, I'm lost with all the work you're doing with the upgrade. I wish you lived closer and could give me a few tips. I've not heard fireworks yet, but past years they didn't bother Maggie either! Have a wonderful day.

Glad to hear you had a little holiday break from everyone singing to you in the bed this morning but waiting patiently on the stairs. Sorry about the computer thing...very frustrating. Enjoy your 4th and definitely stay away from all the crowds. Mannie and Simon are alike--fireworks are no big deal to them. My civvie on the other hand, is petrified.

Hi Georgia - oh yes on the break from the kitty choir... sometimes that bellowing in my ear is way too much! thanks on the computer thing- oh well... buy a new one, I know! I too am grateful that Mannie is not bothered by the fireworks. I have another though that rally is. we always have to make sure she is inside and in a place where she feels secure. She's really bothered by them.

Hey Ann - well.... no computer genius here at all.... i rely on my DSIL to get me out of jams... this morning the only thing I could think to do was take the whole thing back a day and restore. so that I did and it worked - thank gawd!, or there would be no Mannie condo today. sheshhhh!!!! -- and I know on Mannie's BG - I am wondering is it was the food - I fed Merrick this morning, it's been a few since I have fed that. Dunno - guess we shall see how the day goes. maybe he went low last night and this is an upswing from that. ????

Taking it easy today huh, Mannie? Have a nice peaceful day. I think we're skipping the fireworks. We could go to DS to see the display at the beach , but her whole neighborhood goes overboard. Driving down the street it is difficult to see from all the smoke. Too much for me.

Nice on the fireworks..none here this year. But bummer on the 'puter. I do believe you will have to break down and buy a new one!! Glad you got your walk in early...how gorgeous. I miss the beach so much!! My sister and her hubby have this incredible "weekend home" on Edisto Island near Charleston, SC. It's in a small, gated community, huge, and right on the beach and phenomenal....before Gracie was FD, we'd have sisters' trips....just us girls; no makeup, hung out in bathing suits and shorts, no TV, take out, BROWNIES, beer, strawberry daiquiris...and beach beach beach. I long for it in my soul. I told Mike the first time we can travel again, we're going to Bora Bora...no questions asked. I need beach....tropical... :lol: :lol:

Oh I know on the neighborhoods... ours is like that - we are unincorporated and unless the county sheriff comes by (unlikely) the neighbors are at it for a long time... You can't see across the street - often we need to close the windows to keep the smoke out... sheesshhhh!! nutsville, and I am right smack in the middle of it. Happy 4TH!

Hi Marje - who knows on today - up down and sideways.... it's one of those phases he does sometimes - this could go on for 4 days.... once it was 5. errrrr!!!! and I know on BJ - but truth be told - she starts them all: one glance the wrong way, she inches forward - all interpreted as a green light to whack - and so they do. :lol: :lol: ----- and yes on the 'puter. My DSIL likes to build them, so I told him what I need/want and we will see what he thinks he can build it for, if it saves me $$ then YAY!, otherwise it's an online order. This thing here is such an ordeal - really tries my patience, so I hope DSIL comes up with something soon - this morning was a bit much. ---- wow on DS place in SC - sounds like heaven... our beach is very small, but "secluded" in a way. Mostly locals go there, exception holidays and sunny weekends when the masses show, people who otherwise could care less.... crazy-ville then! I so hope you make Bora Bora - that would be cool.

Seems Mannie delights in giving you a +11 higher than his PMPS. What a boy! Sounds like your walk was wonderful including the timing. We used to call beach tourist shoebees. Hope you resolve the puter problems, that is frustrating. Casey Anthony trial here has the town going nuts. I can't believe people fly in from all over the country hoping to get into the courtroom.
