What a nice day yesterday - a day of recovery for Mannie. Bye bye yellows ad pinks of the day before, hello blues and greens. It was a great day all around, and no complaints!!! :razz: :razz: I tried to keep Mannie at a lower carb food through last night, but a 59 with two hours to go til nadir was low enough for me, so went with a 14%. I'd really had hoped to keep him in the 60-70 range. Even with the 14% he was intent upon surfing the 50's. What a night! :razz: :razz: and this morning?? oh boy.... here we go again! Mannie - well done yesterday - your bean is proud of you! cat_pet_icon

I took the following photo yesterday while Mannie slept, and DGS played. So so close.... each with their own thing, each content. Will you look at Mannie - not a care in the world, DGS is OK, nanners are safe, and now he can sleep.

All is well in MannieLand. The civvie whack-a-thon of the night before was repeated last night at fuds time, though it was more of a mini version. Mannie was the whacker, the girls the whackees... He's so funny - he sits so still, and out of the blue up goes the paw - WHACK!, and then all is calm once again. :lol: :lol: :lol: The girls have that :shock: look on their face... too darn funny.... We have normalcy this morning. Good test feed shoot, fuds were approved by the nanner king , CPC intact :razz: . Major face washing in progress - guess they really were good fuds! And as always the boy has retreated to the nanner pile for some nap time. I left him there last night after all those pokies, found him there this morning, and so there he returns after breffis, for some major cuddle time. It was a late night last night for both of us..... but, Life is good. :razz: :razz: :razz:

So here we are - Fursday. and DGS duties continue through Friday. I hope to make condos, forgive me if I cannot. I am thinking of you all, hope your kitties are doing well. Think GREEN kitties!

My Friends - WOW, and what a birthday party for Tray - that cake!!! Tess made it with green frosting - AWESOME! and the after party at the lagoon!! SWEET!!!! I don't know how we can top that today.... maybe some dune sliding in the sands of the desert.... What'd'ya guys think? ~~ Mannie

Oh how cute! I would say a bonding and love connection has taken place, just looking at the picture. Priceless picture, I just got caught up with your last night condo when I was up early. That +2 was an eye opener, and I thought - here we go again.... but he seems to have leveled out, and will get a really nice high green, low blue surf out of it all. YES!! Happy to see this after all those carbs last night.... I thought for sure we would have yellow today. Just when you think you have them figured out, you realize you don't. :roll: :razz: I did feed Mannie a 10% food after the +2, as I needed to get Nicholas, aka DGS, and one never knows how long that drive will take in "that" traffic... so played it safe....

He Melissa - thanks! I liked the photo too... those two will indeed get along very well. I even have Mannie settled down for his nap next to DGS is so nice to see. and thanks too on yesterday - wow! looks like today may be a good one too. HOORAY!

Thanks everyone for the visits today. It's been a nice day - rains stopped, still cloudy, but it was good enough for a woods walk with DGS - so off we went. He even managed to stay awake for all of it. :shock: :razz: For that I was grateful - I front pack carry him, and let me tell you, when he falls asleep, and everything just "hangs" all those pounds increase in weight 4 times over.... omg.....

Hi Marje - It is cool - and no - he didn't hit the yellows due to all those carbs - maybe because it was just food, and no gravy until I wet to bed. Hi Ann - it is isn't it - just at the right place. What a joy to see... and this is Mannie?????????????? DGS and I did a woods walk today, it's short, about 2 hours, and I could keep a watch on Mannie too - tomorrow I plan on taking DGS to one of the islands here for a cliff hike - which is about a 5-6 hour thing. That one will depend upon Mannie.... :roll:

Hi Tracy - It is nice - the two of them. It has taken Mannie a while to get used to a baby- he really wasn't too sure about all the crying... that has subsided and Mannie has come to learn that the little kid is OK. He's always been a people kitty, loved the kids/boys when they lived at home, so I think he will DGS too. oh well on the whacking.... half the time he's the one getting whacked - I guess he figured it was their turn. :lol: :lol:
