6/28 Willie PMPS 92

Yesterday's Excitement

suspect this morning's 100 may be food influence. There was some LC left out last night and he came in smacking his lips after that +11. took me a bit to get this typed... somebody needed some cuddles this morning, and I was happy to oblige.

Next week should be interesting... we're headed to my parents' house for a week. We'll be staying some with my brother and his fiance as well. They are the ones with his drooler "friend" Hunter. Hunter is a yellow lab who ADORES Willie and very much wants to be best friends. Willie? Eh, not so much. Both houses are on farms with no fences, so Willie won't be getting any backyard time unless I buy him a harness and lead. My parents do have a screened porch that he'll have full use of, so he'll at least get some fresh air. It was there, though, that Willie had his first post-diagnosis breakthrough of low numbers, so he does clearly like it there. Gotta go get a new feliway this week for the car. Hoping that combined with rescue remedy will help make this trip better than previous ones! Thankfully, DS will again be along for the ride.

Willie is looking great! Have a wonderful trip. That will be very exciting for Willie too. A change of scenery does everyone good every now and then!

"feliway for the car" do you mean a plug in? Or just a spray?

I have a thingy that plugs into the car adapter and converts it to a regular outlet. going to plug the feliway diffuser into that.

FYI... Amazon currently has refills for $13.20, which is a GREAT price, and most people won't have to pay sales tax (alas, as a Kansas resident, I now have to!).

I may have to check out that harness, Ann....

ROAD TRIP! ah Willie.... you are one lucky dude! A week's vacation - awesome! It sounds like a great time - your parents live in Iowa, yes? was it on a farm? or am I thinking of someone else...?? Well even if so - how great to be able to go spend some time.

Fantastic day yesterday - excitement is a good summation. He's looking darn good today too. Willie - you rock!
