Good morning LANTUS LAND!!! It is stinking hot in the desert today!! I think the kitties should definitely go somewhere cooler for their social activities.

Gracie had a really awesome day yesterday after she cleared that bounce and she's still chugging at it. After getting her 76 at PMPS and knowing how she can drop, I gave her 10% food. It kept her in high greens but that's ok...she had a really nice surf and just popped up into blue for AMPS but she's already coming back down. We played "Go Cat" mouse this morning and she really cracks me up....she likes it when I hold it over her head and she can jump up at it. Then she grabs and takes off with those little precious chubby bow legs the view I get. It's adorable. She and Tobey have been wrestling like crazy; I always change the sheets on Sunday mornings and it's a great fun time for them....they get themselves all buried in the sheets and then jump on each other each time one moves. This morning, Tobey was in the sheets on the floor and Gracie was on the fireplace hearth. He was cooing up a storm (I have to get that on video) and she took this big dive right down on top of him ....cowabunga :lol: :lol: :lol:

Teddi had a good night...she's been eating really well now and it's much easier to give her the bupe by injection. I think we are on the upswing. Dr. Janet already called this morning to check on her.

I am determined to get some pool time today and take a nice nap on my floatie. Right now I've got to finish up some chores and get some and breffis. I'm actually going to try a little yoga...this durn rib hasn't let me do much stretching in my upper body :evil: I'll be checking back in in a bit to see how your day is going. I like Gracie's numbers; looking really nice! What a nice report on the play time and wrestling with Gracie and Tobey. It would make a great video. Nice to hear Teddi is doing so well and also eating. What a wonderful Vet to make a call on Teddi on a Sunday. Enjoy your pool and nap time as you surely deserve it.

Hearing the story about Gracie and Tobey playing really makes me wish I had another cat for Champ to play with. Champ needs a pet!!! Of course, with my luck, that cat wouldn't play either. :lol: :lol:

I hope you got your pool time with the floatie nap...just don't turn over in your sleep!!! You might be in for a surprise!! :lol:

What great numbers for Gracie! I made time yesterday and today to take a nap on my floatie. It was sooo relaxing. Hope you had a chance to. It is freaking hot here. Way hotter than normal for June with temps at 100. I can only imagine the heat you are having.

Looks like a great day for Gracie - not too sure what is yup with that +6. Mannie did the same thing today... nice and blue and then up he went. Perhaps those two are in on this together....

I love the Gracie and Tobey antics - too funny. I miss playful kitties! It is good to read that Teddi is doing better. Nice too that the vet called to check on her.

Gracie!! I LUBS your pool - but wow it was hot there today! phew! and I think i sunburned my nose.... it's a goo thin we had Putty's birthday to celebrate, and a cake to bake, but wow - it was hot in the kitchen too.... See you later! Mannie

Gracie is doing some lovely work there...and having lots of fun along the way :lol: ! I'm so glad to hear Teddi is doing better, too. And, it's good to know bupe is available by injection. I wish I had known that after Trixie's dental!

Hi Ya'll...hope you've all been having a great day. I did get some pool time...YIPPEE!! The water felt great.

Miss Gracie decided to confused_cat confused_cat but she has been having a lovely day...napping in her favorite places and giving me purry headbutts.

Durn this rib....I sneezed really hard and I mean now it is hurting constantly. Urgent Care is closed and I am not about to go to the ER. Mike will be home tomorrow late so hopefully I can go when he's home. Our Primary Care Manager is in some kind of disagreement with our insurance company and they are trying to resolve it but in the interim, we can't go to him...and he is an awesome doc. I don't want to try and find a new PCM in the hopes they'll get it resolved.

Ann: no green lagoon today like I thought!! She, Tess, and Mannie are bouncy kids!!

Ann: yes, these two are a riot...just when I try to get a video, they take off down the hall after each other. I like Dr. Janet...she isn't our regular vet at the clinic but she owns it. She did Teddi's dental because our regular vet there only does the Nutrition Response Testing. Dr. Janet used to work for Dr. Paula who was our vet for 10 years but she sold her practice and now she's a 45 drive away....we love her but that's too far.

Patty: Champ needs a little brudder or sista!!! I did get my floatie nap but my floatie is one of those cushy ones with the arms and the headrest/pillow and the most important drink holder :lol: :lol: ...I don't think you could turn yourself over.

Melissa: Glad you got some pool time, too. I think at least we have no humidity but you have lots, right??

Bonnie: Little girl had 24 hours of normal numbers!! Yay!! I can't get away for a yoga class because of you know who but for a long time, I took personal lessons with a therapy yogie and she gave me a ton of programs that I do at home which I like so much better than going to a class. Cool on the yogatoday.com....I'll check it out!

Michelle: I have to say floating beats yard work but it's too durn hot here to do yard work so I have a good excuse. Hope you got yours done!!

Natalia: WHAT???? No BTB???? :shock: ;-) Glad you got some rays So I feel fine...it's just my ribs. Wish you were a nurse instead of a schoolteacher :lol: :lol: :lol:

Amy: when they give you bupe for your cat orally, it's actually the injectable they are giving you. Most vets don't think about those of us giving insulin injections and that we are able to give subq bupe injections. Of course, the needles are much larger!! You wouldn't want to give a fur shot with a 25g needle...one would probably stick it through their finger..OUCH! :lol: :lol:

so sorry on the rib - and bummer on your doc. I can understand why you don't want to find another... no more sneezing though, OK? :lol: shesshhh - that had to hurt!

Lisa: hey you!! I was trying to get Gracie from behind her condo the other night and hit my rib really hard on the arm of a chair. It seemed ok but has been more painful the last two days. It'll heal.

Looks like an early night for me....dinner first. Any meal is my favorite part of the day....oh wait, I think sleep ranks up there, too. :lol: :lol:
