6/26 Champ AMPS 182, +6 61, PMPS 314, +2 300, +4 266

Yesterday

Champ again woke me up at 4 a.m., crying without end, wanting food. So I got up and gave him some raw chicken nuked for 10 seconds and went back to bed. When I got up at 6:30, he was sitting in the kitchen, waiting for me. It was definitely a CPC day. He's been really good about eating every bit of his Wellness. I've been feeding him the Wellness at his main meals and at his +1 and +2 and then he gets the FF as a thank-you at +3! I still have to put the salmon dust on the Wellness, and probably always will because he's gotten used to it, but that's okay because he'll eat what's good for him that way! His diet is going well, though I haven't weighed him. I've been keeping him to 6 oz of wet food and 1 oz of raw chicken (nuked to just whiten the outside) a day with minimal freeze-dried treats. I hope this is enough to get him to lose some weight. I've tried getting him to play and it's just not happening!! I'm giving him the methyl B12 3 mg with both main meals. He's moving better, but I don't know if that's because his numbers are getting a little better or if the B12 is working. I'm going to keep giving it to him without fail and see what happens! Paws crossed!!!

Poor Champ and his diet, he sounds like a poor starving kitter! He's starting his day out right.....finally hitting those green numbers now!! WOOHOO!

Glad to hear that the B12 is working, or diet, or nice healing numbers....whatever it is, it's working on Champ's legs.

You know i talked to Leo's DGp last night and i asked how his legs were doing, he says "well i thought they were the same, no better, no worse, but when i opened the door, he shot out the door like nothing was wrong with his legs, and i had to run after him and he was running just fine". :lol: Hmmmm sometimes i wonder about my cat!

Hey Champ, those are great numbers!
Hi Patty, I'm glad that the B-12 arrived and seems to be working. Champ and Rusty are getting about the same amount of food, so we'll have to keep track of their weight-loss progress. Rusty doesn't play as much as he did in the winter, when he weighed a lb. less, so I hope that losing that lb. will result in more play. (chicken and egg sort of thing).

Well, pooh. Looks like we're back to the way it used to be....run of good numbers, bounce, run of good numbers, bounce, etc., etc. Oh well, at least a run of good numbers is in there with all the bouncy bouncy bouncy!!
