I ended up working through the night and went to bed after Champ's +1. I only got about 4 hours of sleep, and I had to get up once to give Champ his second breakfast cuz he was being VOCAL!!! He doesn't cry very often, but when he does, he mean's it!! :lol: :lol: He's been very hungry this morning, but he's had his AM cycle allottment so he's going to have to suffer through!!

I want to thank everyone who stopped by Champ's condo yesterday with their encouragement, advice, and kind words. It really means the world to me to know you all care. Yesterday was a very blue day for me. I try to not let things get to me, but sometimes I can't help it and that tends to make me feel even worse!! Vicious cycle. I feel much better today, but I seriously cannot wait for that methyl B12 to get here for Champ!!

Hello Patty! Hope you got some much needed rest. We all have our blue days so you are definitely allowed. I had mine last week when we had a 400 number pop up.

Some days are really hard. It happens to all of us! There was one day I sat on the floor in the kitchen and cried for an hour because I was so frustrated with Willy's numbers and odd behavior. I think it's important to let it out when it comes up, otherwise it starts leaking into everything and draining all your energy. It's like.. you feel really bad for a few hours or a day... or feel mopey for a month. My mom always said to limit things that drain your energy and to increase the things that give you energy.

I hope you get some rest! Willy is a huge talker... or rather yell-at-us-er! That's one way we can tell when he's not feeling quite right. Normally, if you say his name he responds with a "mrow" or a "yrow" and normally (other than if you walk into the kitchen or talk to him) he is quiet enough after he eats, so if he's super yelling at you during the day it's because he doesn't feel well. I need to record his morning stuff sometime, it's something...

I am very very happy to see blue today from Champ. I hope the b-12 helps him feel better! I look forward to hearing about the progress when it arrives. If you need anything let us know!

Thank you, Barb and Checkers, for sending Champ your rejected tuna flakes. Checkers' dislike for tuna flakes was Champs gain because he has found his new addiction. I think Champ would actually prostitute himself to tuna flakes. :lol: Anyone want a date?? ;-)

Nice 88 there Champ! Willy thinks he's looking in the mirror but is mad that he's not also eating tuna flakes. :lol:

Champ's liking this dose soooo much better!!!

One thing I learned from that video....my camera sucks at taking video!!! The video quality is awful!! I need to find my cord for my actual video camera so I can charge it and use it.

How is Champ's neuropathy doing this evening, now that he's in some lower numbers? I hope he's feeling good!

CRAP!!!!! I didn't mention that the B12 got here today!!!! I immediately gave Champ his first dose. I ground it up and sprinkled it on some FF and he ate it all up!! So now I need to know.....do I give him 3 mg a day or 3 mg twice a day? God, I hope this works!! :-D

I don't know anything about the B12 dosing, but I've got my fingers crossed for you guys. I'm so glad it arrived much sooner than you expected!

Hi Patty - I am sorry I missed your condo yesterday - heck, I missed everybody's! sessshhhh. I do know what you are gong through - been there a couple of times,. You work so hard to get the reductions, and then you just end up going back up, often higher than what you started out at. Mannie has.... more than once. All I can tell you is hang in there, do vent when you need to, expect it to happen, but know also that it's just part of the sugar dance, and it will get better. probably not tomorrow, but soon. Eventually it all comes together.

Having said that - look at the +8.5! SWEET! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: very fun video! I enjoyed it - he does love his flakes!

and sorry - no clue on the B12...

JK of course!! :lol: :lol: i know how much you dislike that.

Sorry I didn't see your post in Leo's condo until now. I started Leo off at 4 mg/day of the B12. His pills come in 1 mg tho, not 3. They say you can start your kitty anywhere from 3-5mg/day and work your way up! Oh yeah I split the dose between breffis and supper so he was getting the B12 twice a day.

Champ looks fabulous!! Finally! Hooray for Champ!

Love the video, Leo makes Champ look tame when it comes to treats..... :-D you know my iPad takes great video which is what I filmed Leo's mousing video with, when I uploaded it to youttube it looked horrible and all fuzzy, maybe it's not your camera, maybe just the way we've been uploading video? Just a thought.

I hope you have a wonderful week and start seeing some improvement on Champs legs and numbers. I'll make sure to
