Yesterday's Condo

Good morning, Lantus Land! We are saying special prayers for Miss Tessie Lou today as she gets her biopsy, and we have fingers and paws crossed that the tests will show that all is clear.

Still moving, moving. Willie got to spend over an hour in the backyard last night, which had him very happy. He was especially cuddly this morning and we had some quality BTB time. My new lawnmower comes today, so I'll be out mowing this evening! At least it is a beautiful day for it!

I think there is a little sumpin sick about being excited to mow a lawn :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: It's just that homeownership newness!!

Checking in late... lawnmower assembled, front lawn mowed, laundry done, kitchen cleaned, shopping planned, coupons printed, dinner eaten... all with hourly pokes in between. Whew! No idea what is up with Willie's cycle today, but I'm being conservative as I will be in and out for the remainder of the week, so I've shaved a drop off his dose even though I didn't catch him earning it. I am wondering if the Wilderness Duck is shooting up his numbers... I've been alternating it with the BG and he seems to go higher when it's a Wildnerness cycle. We've got a case to get through, so hoping that isn't it!

Movers are bringing the rest of our furniture on Friday morning, then it will be just moving the last of the small things. Hoping to be done this weekend.

Should note that we have switched back to the Relion meter. I have had bad luck with ebay auctions for the Advocate, and with the added cost of Willie's vet visit, new cyclosporine Rx and flea/heartworm meds in addition to paying for house stuff, now seems like an opportune time to dip into our stockpile of Relion strips. Given the good prices available on ADW and the fact that I now live just 5 blocks from a Walmart, I think it is a wise choice.

Lighting a candle for our friend Miss Tessie Lou tonight, as our hearts break along with Sandy for the loss of her sweet girl. Was one of those days that I was glad to not have many people stopping by my office... tears definitely shed for her today.
