6/9 Moonie AMPS 168,+3~95,+5~98

Morning LL!! Moonie is eating a little less due to the heat(oh the princess is in AC all day & night)-Had a little breffis of ff chicken feast, and sleeping in the cat napper...Ate breffis #2 by herself-and #3..
Moonie free feeds, as she feels when her sugar drops, & has learned that the food works to raise it..
When I first came, we did not do timed feeding to control the numbers, and that's what she learned--
When I see one of the plates very empty, I know she may be dropping..so I check her..Like I just did & she was 95..Looks like a good day--Have a great Fursday--Hope all ailing kitties are well and Big Hugs from us--
Going to TBP today!

Hi Roni, very nice day for Moonie! I find it interesting the way Moonie free feeds, as it's exactly the way I feed Maggie. I can tell sometimes by the way she gets up from a nap and kind of gobbles her food she is so hungry. I test right away and most always she is low. Hope you are having a nice day and you all soon get a break in the weather. Hugs to you and Moonie.

I might try Curry on the free feeding again. She' always been a little hoover and became overweight. Perhaps she has learned better now.

If there's food, Gabby eats. She's very motivated by food. You're lucky you can free feed!
