Yesterday
Good morning LL! Happy Wednesday to you all! Shadow is starting the day with a nice blue this morning and he seemed to like my kisses on top of his head especially today.

He waist and watches to see my reaction when the meter beep signals the BG results....I realized fairly early on that I had been giving deep sad sighs when I would see his numbers. One day I looked down and I noticed that he was looking up at me as I reacted to another discouraging red or pink!
Raja was always giving such nice numbers and I would act so happy and exclaim about her greens or whatever. Then when I tested Shadow, my disappointed sigh would just hang in the air ...he was my "Problem Child". So, I have tried to be careful when I do his ear pricks so that I will react in a more positive way ...since he seems to be watching.... I know...I know...I am crazy... LOL But I felt so bad when I realized that he was noticing!
He has been doing so nicely lately too....who would have believed that after all this time he would be looking so great and feeling so good? The Lev is keeping him in nice numbers for the most part at this dose.
Patience friends.....we all need Patience! :lol:

Oh that is so sad. Shadow is such a smart kitty. I believe he noticed so that makes us both crazy! :lol:

I feel the same way! Cats are so in tune with our moods, it's hard to fool them. I'm always super goofy and cheerful when doing the tests. DH probably thinks I'm crazy, but I'm trying to make her think it's a game. Many times the numbers lately have been really high or scary low, so the "Who's a good kitty?! *scritch scritch scritch* routine is probably transparent. :lol:

Hi guys .. nice blue start to the day for Shadow! I have to admit there were many songs created in this house while waiting for the meter to beep .. while they may have been sung in the same tone, there were good words and bad words :lol:

No sighs for these numbers! You are doing a beautiful job keeping him in healthy numbers.
He is an amazing kitty, that's for sure. I hope he knows how many people out in the internet-world love him. :YMHUG:

I know on the sighs and meter readings. Sometimes I wonder how attuned Mannie is to my reactions. SO we try to be positive.
