Good Morning Lantus Land! ~O) ~O) ~O) + ~O) ~O) I need a few extra this morning as T-boomers lasted most of the evening.

Yesterday's Condo

Attie is up this morning so I am suspecting he went blue and green for a bit last night. But, maybe not with all the rain, wind, and racket going on outside.

He has had his #1 breffis with no added flavors and is laying in the middle of the kitchen floor with his cigar.

Predictions for today is a repeat storm performance this afternoon once the daily heating gets to working. I am hoping not, as we have cloud cover and rain this morning. Although looking at the radar I can see the system is stacked up from PA to Ill.

You all have a great day and I'll be out doing yard clean-up duty today(AGAIN), a few walks, and checking in occasionally on Attie and gang. Although it seems to be the same leaves from Monday evening...just got blown around off the compost pile?

Hail Bellevue, Ohio

Viewer video confirms tornado touchdown near Monroeville
Chief Tom Beck with the Huron River Jt. Fire Dist. in Monroeville emailed NewsChannel5 this information about the twister:

"The tornado you were showing the viewers was actually just south of U.S. Rte. 20 moving in a east/southeast direction. The two barns that were hit was about a mile south of U.S.20 on Halfway Rd.in Ridgefield Twp.and scattered debris from the barns across a field. It also took part of a roof off of a house across the Rd. from the barns. It continued on doing damage on Brown Rd. in Ridgefield Twp. and the took part of a roof off on St.Rte.61 South. As far as we know there were no injuries. If this was on the ground the entire time it would covered about 2 to 3 miles and was reported to be between 100 to 150 yds. wide."

Good Morning Blue, and I can't believe the size of that hailstone. I am originally from PA, and my Mom and sisters live in different areas of Pa. Sisters are closer to northern area of PA near Jamestown, NY. Glad you are okay and hope you don't have a repeat storm. Glad Attie is okay and enjoying his cigar. Take care and stay safe.

Re: 5/26 Atlas AMPS 294

The storms and tornadoes have been so devastating. I'm glad you are ok and hoping that everything will be ok today. Please stay safe!

Re: 5/26 Atlas AMPS 294

Wow! Look at the hail! Please stay safe! The storms are out of control. We hope you all have a wonderful Thursday!

I haven't seen hail remotely near that size in my life. Crazy!!! That would damage cars!

Edit: I have pictures from when I was around 8 years old of hail the size of softballs.

Look for dealerships to be holding ...Hail Sales ! Most cars won't even go to auction, they will be sold off as is and often to the best offer.

Attie and Gary have been holding a summit about the tall cat tree this morning. Attie took the top most level, which Gary hasn't been using. But now Gary is pitching a hissy about having to share the tree. Nothing too serious. Just some hissy, minor swatting, and prodding going on. C'mon boys...work it out.

Edit: Wow....still hearing chainsaws and tree shredders going across the river. Lots to do from Monday nights storm and now last nights...although the sun is shining now! :-D

Well it looks like they have finally made it to my street to take care of the trees that fell. Gonna take a couple more days to clean things up.

Tough work on these yards for sure.

OK Attie....come back down!! I hope you did get into some green/blue last night!!

Your neighborhood is so green and beautiful even with the downed trees. I'm glad you all are safe. I'm also glad Gary is in with you...can you imagine if he'd still been outside?

Hope the storms will be done for you.

SkyWarn Storm Chaser last night:

Here is the Link: http://www.fox8.com/videobeta/1562a2ae- ... ht-On-Tape

Looks like he saved a few lives!!! Good on him!

Another evening of severe storms flaring up, but not as bad as Monday or last night. We didn't get as warm and humid today. These should just be the garden variety of boomers.

Poor Attie can't catch a break from these storms either. I don't think they are doing his BG much good.
