What a recovery yesterday - YAY!!! :razz: Mannie started out with a high pink - a bounce from the day before - but WOW! He started clearing this from his +2, and kept on heading down. How sweet was that? Loved the pm cycle - excellent from the get go. I fed a 5% with pmps, as I was curious how much it would bump him up - about 15 points. Not too bad, perhaps better than if I had gone with a higher one. What a nice green cycle, not too low. He remained steady and even through most of the PM cycle - which was really nice to see. YAY! :razz: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

All is well in MannieLand. All are in major sleep mode I-) I-) I-) , must be the weather change. We have had 4 days of sun , warmer weather. All of which found Mannie outside, soaking up the rays, roaming his domain, chewing grass, watching the birds. I love to feels the warmth of the sun on his fur . This morning it is raining, and it is a given I think to find him camped out and asleep on the nanner pile. He has made a bed out of them today, cuddles and face plant in progress. Breffis consumed, clean plate club intact. Good test, good shot, all under the watchful eye of civvie BJ. It may be wet and dreary outside, but inside all is warm, safe, content.

As my DGS continues to grow and develop his cries lessen, his smiles and happy sounds increase. Mannie is becoming more content, less likely to retreat to the quiet of the basement. I shot this photo yesterday. Mannie had decided that Nicholas's things needed investigation... after all his nanner was dangerously close.....

Have a great Caturday everyone! It is raining and dreary and gray and cloudy and blah here today.... I had hoped to go hiking today, but.... wow. figure I can get that wet on the trails at home, so why drive 2 hours to get soaked and not be able to see the vistas anyways. at least home offers dry clothes just a few minutes away and a low tide today. so.... instead of mountain vistas we well see sea creatures. Works for me! :razz: :razz: :razz:

My friends!!! Today we are off to Rusty's - he is all alone. His beans have left to get Camp Stu opened and ready for the spring and summer. so...... we will go and chillax at Rusty's. He has this really cool porch! We can go canoeing in the cellar too! :razz: Rusty and me will be grillin' up bison burgers for everyone. So - you guys gotta come, OK? I can give anybody a ride that needs one - roaster is all prepped and ready to roll. ~~ Mannie

Morning Libby - and thanks! I am pleased with where he is. It is a big improvement over not long ago. I like the evenness of it all, well 90% of it, the lack of major diving, the lessening of the need to fed HC, so many things. It is so great to see the range of numbers dropping, and his increasing ability to hold a steady even surf. I hold my breath every time I run a test....

Wow, Maggie and I are really impressed with Mannie's cycles lately and so happy for you. I love that pic of Mannie sitting on the baby's blanket. Did you know that it's a compliment when they sit or lay on our clothes, as they want to feel close to that person. So Mannie is pulling DGS under his wings, I believe! I don't blame you for staying closer to home for a walk with the rain. I bet Mannie sees some nice greens today.

Hey Mannie, did you say porch chillaxin', canoeing in Rusty's cellar, and you and Rusty will be doing bison burger grillin'! Oh boy, I can't wait. My Bean has started feeding me FF Chicken Feast of all things, so I can't wait to have some real meat! I'll be waiting for you to picks me up, thanks, Maggie

I'm luving his numbers Michelle. And luv his photo. Can hardly wait of the photo w/the two of them together....Sleeping side by side. A big ole Mannie paw reaching out and touching your DGS. I can just see it now.

:shock: :shock: WHOA!, and GO MANNIE! let's see.... 58 @ +4.5, 69 @ +5. I fed the 58 with an 18% HC w/ gravy to bump him up - that seems to have done the trick. The 69 I fed with a 9% MC, and we shall see hoe well that worked... I would like to see a nice surf in the 70's... maybe Mannie?

Hi Tena - me too! on the numbers, and a photo. There is a chair that sits just out of the photo, which is where Mannie spent most of the day yesterday while my DGS occupied the blanket. Someday he will be there, just as you described. It was what he used to do with my sons when they lived at home. Always slept with the boys, as close as he could get. -- and yes on the wet walks by the seaside... :razz: one does not live and hike in the PNW without rain gear. I was one of the first things I ever bought for hiking gear. It allows me to go just about anywhere. YAY!!!!

Hi Ann - Thanks. me too - I love this, even when it keeps me home. I like that observation - I believe that you are right. Mannie's way to saying that this is all cool, his way of being closer to the baby. One of these days it will be side by side. Under his wings - I like that! and yep: right you are: greens for he boy. SWEET!

Hi Michelle, I was making my way to your condo when I saw your post to me me and Maggie. I am glad to see Mannie is at least coming down and doing better than us. Yes, Maggie was a happy camper to get her Seafood Feast back after upchucking the Chicken Feast. I probably should have mixed it in slowly. What an awesome day of greens for Mannie. I think he is making a breakthrough. I am so glad to see how well he is doing and more to come. Have a good night.

Thanks Ann! It has been a good day, and no complaints here. Deep down inside I almost hope he stays blue tonight so I can just go to bed,. One tired bean.....

I hope so on Mannie -it has been one long haul for him. I'd love nothing more for it to all come together for him - even if together just means regulated.
