5/14 Alex AMPS 250,+6-110

Morning Everyone....

Hope y'all and your kitties had a great week.

Alex is doing pretty well. Still chubby and cuddly and wearing them purry pants like they're going out of style
Decided to try to get him back to a BID dosing schedule to see how he does and so far(I say guardedly), the little man is exceeding my expectations. His numbers are a little higher than I would like to see them but where he was usually in the 400's by +8...well, he's not doing that now. At least for now (unjinx unjinx)
If I can get him back down to bid it would certainly make life a lot easier for both of us ...so I am crossing my fingers.

Aside from that all p's are in order. Alex and Jackson just had breffis a little while ago and are taking their AM nappies. ACTUALLY they are both getting very picky about their food and are giving me a hard time unless they REALLY like it and then they eat like little porkers. Alex could live on Cowboy Cookout..no problem but Jackson is giving me a problem. he's going through a really picky stage and the ONLY food he likes now is Earthborn Holistic (Alex does too). This is fine except there are only 4 flavors and 3 of them are fish.
I've given Jackson everything he likes but he only seems to want the gravy and a small portion of the meat..except for the Earthborn foods. He REALLY chows down on those.
What to do? What to do? ohmygod_smile

shooting TID is the pits, if you ask me. glad you're at a point where you can try going back to a BID schedule.
it's hard to tell if alex cleared his bounce before the dose was increased last night. hope he comes down nicely for you today.

i hear your frustration about feeding in a multi-cat household! i have a couple of picky eaters here. luckily, my alex isn't one of them.

Jill I went to Pet Goods today and when I was checking out I heard myself saying "I hate shopping for my cats' food these days" and I felt awful :sad:
I know I'm a good Mom..and it was nothing personal...but I felt like a monster :-|

MY Alex isn't really picky either..it's more Jackson...but they like to eat together and THAT is where the fun begins...NOT!!!! Serving them at the same time and giving them both what they like. :roll:

Maybe we should swap surplus cans and see if each other's kitty's will eat what ours won't (did that make sense)? :? :lol:

Alex is looking good. Liking that +6.

I'm lucky that Curry pretty eats anything I put down in front of her. She LOVES food.

you can always send your surplus to me - nothing goes to waste in my place - what the girls don't eat Vern, Baby Cat, the squirrels, birds, raccoons and other ferals eat!

The two who own my porch are Vern and Baby Cat. (Baby Cat is Buster's mom and Vern is her uncle).

Good luck with the dose changes. Maybe we can talk tomorrow, I've got vet update for you and lots of vet frustration. But I need time to cool off before talking....sigh

Jackson USED to like Cowboy Cookout..now he only likes the gravy. And he like NOTHING I got today. I have to go tomorrow and but some Earthborn. THAT he likes! Maaybe I should just go to the old fishing hole and bring home some fresh trout. :lol:

Maybe his cyst hurts him. Hopefully after his surgery he will turn around :YMSIGH: MY BABY
