HAPPY CATURDAY LL!!! Tons of healing vines and prayers go to Jill's DGS, Sienne's DS, Butthead, Rocket, Miss Emily, and any who need them and of course, we are still holding Roni, Brad, and Moonie close in our hearts and thoughts.

Gracie had two lovely b2b cycles and I did expect this bounce although she was slowly headed down last night. I don't know how long she was in blue last night. I woke up in the middle of the night and instead of her being cuddled up to me like she often is, she must have been warm and so she was next to me...perpendicular to my body and she had thrown her little tiny back feet up over my chest. I don't know how she sleeps with her back feet and hips higher than her head!  . When I woke up when the alarm went off, she was still in the same position but then climbed over on Daddy's pillow when I got up.

Teddi update: she seems to be doing much better. She's on .625 mg methimazole once a day. We are giving her aloe for her tummy and putting it in her ears and so far no vomiting and the ears look much better. Some of her symptoms seem to be decreasing and she's playing again. We are supposed to try and up the methimazole to the normal dose starting Monday. Paws crossed she will stay stable .....and gain weight.

We had a wonderful afternoon yesterday...sat outside by the pool. We have three fountains in the back and so the sound of the fountains, the birds singing, the wind chimes coupled with a soft breeze just the right temp and the sweet smell of the star jasmine, gardenia, and honeysuckle in the yard...it was pure bliss. Hopefully more of the same today. I finally loaded the photos of the kitchen/bathroom and deck reno into photobucket. Here's the link. There's also a couple photos of a little hummingbird who has made a nest in one of my hanging ornaments in the back....she made it on a hummingbird ornament!

Morning guys! What nice day yesterday for Gracie. SWEET! I hope today's bounce is a short one - knowing Gracie it probably will be. :-D

Cute on the sleeping position! And the pillow confiscation. hey can assume the strangest positions and be completely comfortable.

I love the reno - so very nice. The granite is beautifully, the patio - wow! I love the outdoor fireplace - very very nice. Enjoy the reno - it looks wonderful!

Sous Chef Gracie!!! Wake up Gracie!!! We gots Willie's anifursary today, and some wind-sailing,and then - OTJ party for Tasha!!! We will be very very busy.... Chef Mannie

Of course.. our furbabies bodies feel the need to bounce  Great news on Teddi too!!!
Thank you for sharing the pics, your place is beautiful & looks very relaxing.. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!

Re: 5/7 Gracie AMPS 312 +2 316

Your place is beautiful.....it looks so peaceful.

Glad Teddi is doing a wee bit better.

Knowing Gracie...she'll clear the bounce soon.

Have another wonderful day.

Re: 5/7 Gracie AMPS 312 +2 316

Marjorie, Marjorie, Marjorie.. are you out of your mind... ohmygod_smile I'll fly down there, bring the weather with me and we can go play 9, come back and hang out in that SPECTACULAR area you call your back yard.. We'll invite the whole crew, furbabies included   WOW.. What on earth was the "before" pictures like? Have you got any of those..? Did you design the layout? It's absolutely gorgeous, and you know i immediately focused on the mountains in the back ground of one of the photographs... I miss the Mountains!

I sure am glad to see Teddi responding to the meds.. Give that cute little tummy smooches for me

Gracie, be a good girl for Mommy today and come down from the bounce.. Or didn't she tell you about the new law in town
I'm so glad you liked that and thanks for bringing it into my condo today.. I didn't wish to impose it twice on all of you!1

Again, the Reno is MAGNIFICENT!!!!
Have a wonderful afternoon,
Squirrel & Tommy ;-)

So cute with Gracie and her crazy sleeping position. I hope she comes down today. Your kitchen/bathroom and deck reno are all so beautiful. I can see why you are so enjoying your staycation, so lovely!

Re: 5/7 Gracie AMPS 312 +2 316

Nominating this for feel good condo of the day!! Teddi is doing well, Gracie is being adorable, and you guys are having a wonderful time!! What's not to love???

Hope your weekend is as fantastic!

Re: 5/7 Gracie AMPS 312 +2 316

Thanks for keeping Emily in your thoughts! I love the photos. I would have a little trouble deciding if I would want to sit in the beautiful kitchen, wander the lovely garden or, soak in the fabulous pool. OK, it's the pool. Talked myself into it. I love the desert landscaping. Also the granite, the fireplace, the view, .......

Re: 5/7 Gracie AMPS 312 +2 316

Marjorie!!!! Your backyard is COMPLETELY to die for!!!! I don't think I would ever go indoors. And the counters in your kitchen and bath, awesome!!! I love that bathroom sink...so original!! You've really gotten me to see that I need to get started on my house. When I bought it a year ago, it was a foreclosure so lots needs to be done. I had to change the carpeting out before I even moved in and I've painted, but that's it. I still need to replace bathroom fixtures and flooring, the kitchen sink and faucet are god awful and MUST GO soon, and don't even get me going on the outdoors. Whew. Maybe I'll have you come out and you can design my front and rear yards!!   You obviously know how to make desert landscaping look fricken AWESOME and that's a requirement in my community here. You should be proud of yourself!!

Re: 5/7 Gracie AMPS 312 +2 316

The photos are great. Nice job. Enjoy. I love the mountains in the background. I'll swap you some palm trees for a mountain. Gracie, make this bounce short-lived. Good news that Teddi is doing better. Enjoy the rest of your stacation in your beautiful yard/patio/pool area.

Re: 5/7 Gracie AMPS 312 +2 316

yep...we're packing up and movin' in with you!

beautiful pics....and laughing out loud at gracie's sleeping positions.

Re: 5/7 Gracie AMPS 312 +2 316

What a beautiful home, Marje! I have always loved the southwest, and still hope to get to Arizona when we "officially" retire. Your fireplace area is especially inviting!

So happy to hear that Teddi is responding to the meds without the vomiting. Fingers and paws stayed crossed!

And Gracie's sleeping pose--loved the description. :-D Clear that bounce quickly, Gracie!

Re: 5/7 Gracie AMPS 312 +2 316

We took the afternoon to run a few errands and then do our comatose by the pool act again!! I think I fell asleep for over an hour and I mean a hard sleep. Ok Gracie...if you want to come down tonight, Mom is rested!!!

Michelle: Gracie definitely has contorted sleeping positions down pat!!! Glad you like the reno...I love it. Of course, pics never do the colors justice.

Nicole and Tena: thanks to you both, too. And we also hope she clears this bounce quickly. I'm like Ann...why is this cat STILL bouncing??

Squirrel:   Ok...come on down!! We have a world class golf resort....Ventana Canyon Resort about 1/2 mile away ad heck why just 9 holes? I'll see if I can find the before pictures. Yes, we designed it and designed the ramada too. It is one of a kind in the shape (which we wanted low so it didn't interfere with the view) and the metal. I wanted an "Arizona English Garden"  so part of the yard by the pool is more xeric so stuff doesn't get in it and the other end is my flowering garden area. Don't know why the mountains always look far away in photos...they are RIGHT HERE

Ann and CHristie: thanks and we are having a wonderful time. So glad Miss Teddi is feeling better each day. Now she just needs weight on her.

Linda: now why pick one? You can do all three!!!! I also love the desert landscaping and don't even miss grass.

Patty: Thank you!!!! We do spend ALOT of time outside year round; it's so wonderful in winter by the fireplace. I love to put a fire in there and then get in the spa. Every Christmas when Mike is home, we eat dinner by the fire outside...so romantic. I love working in the yard and have a pretty green thumb. The only thing is the yard doesn't look as good yet as it normally does. We lost ALOT of stuff to the freeze this year and it's just growing back and I've not gotten the succulents back in the pots yet...wanted to get everything back in the ground first and then Mike was home so I'll do the pots once he goes back to work. Then it will look really stunning instead of having a bunch of soil filled empty pots. So you have an empty palette....WONDERFUL!!! Sounds like fun!!

Barbara: yes...I love the mountains...this lot was the ONE for us...view is amazing. Thank you and we are having a blast here.

Celi: YOU'RE BACK!! Bring Binks and the tortis and come on down!!!

Sandy: thank you! Big difference from Iowa. Hope you get down here, too, but there are many places better than others in AZ to retire (Phx..yuck). We also love New Mexico...if we hadn't retired here, we would have retired there. Thanks for paws crossed esp when we have to increase Teddi's meds Monday.

Time to go do our PMPS test and get Gracie's routine going. Boy I hope she's coming down......Have a great evening all.

Re: 5/7 Gracie PMPS 335
