This morning our hearts are very heavy for Roni, Brad, and Moonie; we send you hugs, prayers, and our deepest sympathy. Fly free sweet Copper...you will be so missed.
Despite Gracie's less than most excellent adventures yesterday   she seems to be feeling well today. She and Tobey are on the front enclosed patio diligently keeping track of birds. I had to practically drag them in last night as little creatures come into the courtyard at night and the kits are glued to the screen almost salivating...as if they know what a ground squirrel tastes like  So she has recovered just fine from Mom's ineptitude yesterday morning in not monitoring the food closely and Tobey eating Gracie's +1 breffis and then again last night when the little thief pried open Tobey's glass jar of food and ate a good portion of WN chicken and herring. That didn't really seem to affect her much so that's good. She apparently surfed the same numbers all night. Really hoping for a clearing of this bounce today. I know this will shock most of you so please sit down: I held the f .5u dose
Quick civvie update: took Teddi back to vet yesterday as we've not been able to keep her on any methimazole (oral or transdermal). She put her on aloe to calm her tummy and prevent vomiting(this is also very good for constipation), gave me a special ointment for her ears, and put her on another supplement for general support. We also restarted the oral methimazole this morning at half the dose we were giving....which was tiny anyway. Dr. B said, that while it appears textbook reaction to methimazole, there was no positive muscle testing connecting the methimazole to the ears. Teddi did, however, detox too fast on one of the detox aids she has her on and that connected. Teddi seems to feel better this morning; we were so worried about her yesterday. Hoping the half dose of methimazole will help her with some of the symptoms of hyper T.
Not sure what we will do today...depends on her +4. It's warm, cloudy, but fairly nice. I'd love to get in 9 holes of golf but we'll see. Hugs to you all.
