Mannie had a great PM cycle last night - it started out a little high with a 338, but by nadir we were in the greens. That was nice to see. :-D I am anxious to see if today we will go up from that, or if we can find the blues and greens again this morning. Mannie your bean votes for the blues and the greens. We had family stop by last night, including baby Nicholas. It had been a long day out the the little one, and he was just a little tired, a little cranky, which of course equated to some crying spells. Mannie was so happy to have everyone here, visited them all, including Nicholas.... until the cries started. :roll: He retreated to the basement. Off in the corner of the room was Elsa, who was watching all this go down... Anytime Mannie fled, she'd go for the nanners, play as long as she could. Mannie's recovery time on the basement was short, so back up he'd come to see everyone, only to discover Elsa in the nanners. :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol: and defend the stash he did. way too funny - she'd slink away, he'd slobber all over them, cuddle them, until the baby cried again.... and the pattern repeated, several times last night. It was the night's entertainment. :cool: All is well in MannieLand this morning: breffis = clean plate club, purrs abound, nanners getting a major workout and reclamation in progress. Life is good today. :cool: :-D :razz:

Have a good day everyone. The rains have stared here, again... oh joy! They say it will be wet, soggy, raining all week. I can hardly wait! :lol: :lol:

Mannie, my friend - sorry to hear the baby cried last night - very distressing when that happens. I decided to join your clean plate club this morning. I licked mine so clean and then I tried to convince mama she forgot to feed me - I showed her my bowl with nothing in it. It was so clean looked like it just came out of the thingy where she puts dirty ones and they come out shiny clean. She almost believed me but on the good side she did give me more breffis and some boiled chicken treat. Have a good day today, Mannie - I think I'm going to sleep out by the pool today. ~Zoe

Hey Mannie, I'm going to find you a pair of kitty ear muffs for when the baby cries. You can just stick them over your ears and you won't hear him. You sure don't want Elsa to spend the cry time in your nanners!
We've got some sun today, but I don't think it will last long, so maybe we should go to the desert to hang out. What you think? It's Sunday and the pool men won't be working.

Hi Michelle, Sounds like a typical PNW spring week in store for you in the coming days. We're supposed to hit 80 degrees tomorrow! Can you believe it?! Where is all that melting snow going to go? I have a hunch some of it will wind up in our cellar in the form of water. 80 tomorrow will probably be the high for the whole summer (something similar happened in April last year). Have a good Sunday and I hope you can get out for your walk--just wear your raingear!

Hey Ella - 80???? wow, seems like just yesterday you were freezing.... :shock: well I hope all that melting snow doesn't end up in your cellar! As I know.... where is all that snow supposed to go? Several years ago we had a freak snow storm, dumped 3 feet on us in a day and a half. Of course the next day the temps went up to 40 - all that melting snow went way too fast - all ended up in our basement... so I can relate, in a way. And there is so little you can do, but watch it come. I wish you guys luck! and yes - normal here, and I don the rain gear.

Hi Michelle, we got cheated out of some rain yesterday, so you must have it today. Today is sunny, and I'm anxious to get out today. Mannie is so cute retreating to the basement and then returning to reclaim his nanners. Little Nicholas is so cute! Mannie had a really nice cycle last night and hope it is the same today.

Nice for Mannie...come on back down!!! The story of him, Elsa, and the nanners is great. You have GOT to get some videos of this boy and his antics. I was thinking last night about things you said about a dosecrease for him and I would be in the same boat if I were you....he's getting nice numbers and you aren't having to carb the heck out of him. He's clearing most of his bounces pretty quickly. That one extra drop might make it a lot harder for you.

My my my you all have been so busy this morning. I must wake Gracie and let her know the crew is coming over to fix the catnip. I know she will be thrilled because she was very upset with the bad men :lol: :lol:

Come on over gang....it's cold and cloudy and windy here but I gots to get the catnip patch fixed!! Could you bring me some earmuffs too? I need them to keep my ears warm and keep my bean away from me.

hi Marje! well, yep on the dose. Still in a quandary over the whole thing. I think a fattened dose would bring it all down a notch, just not too sure if it wold bring down the good stuff too much. Maybe he could use that jump start to get back to the consistent blues, greens and splashes of yellow. I don't mind the harder part too much, just am not crazy about all the carbs it usually takes to get him back up. well, will think on it some more, see what he does today, if he can find the greens again. He really does need more of them. -- and yes on last night - way too funny... wish I had gotten the video, just too busy yaking away with the family. :roll: -- and yes - the kitties have been on a roll - must be a carryover from all the fun at Willie's last night. :lol:

Just wanted to say "hi" since I've missed you a couple days. Hope Mannie stays low. Little Nicholas is stirring things up a little in Mannieland, huh? Tessie always hides from the grandkids, but little brother T.J. loves kids. He holds very still for them to pet him. I think Mannie will adjust just fine with some time. What a sweet baby-I envy you, don't get to see my grankids very often at all.

Enjoy the evening. I'm off to visit a couple more condos.

Hi Sandy - yep, kitties have been busy.... :lol: :lol: the catnip patch shall be saved! and I agree on Mannie and Nicholas - in time I think he will be just fine. When my kids were younger, and Mannie was only about 1 he used to love to hang out with them. Maybe he just needs the memory poked a couple of times. I am fortunate that the family is all close by, no more than a half hour drive for any of us, very very nice. I am grateful. :-D

Hey Christie - send some of that nice weather here will ya? a week of rains coming up - I am sooooo excited. not. rains have just started again. shesshhhh - enough already. enjoy your walk! well, if Willie will let you. I always hate top get up when they nap so close.... :cool:

What a great time these kitties are having out in the backyard camping out. They stoked up a fire in the fireplace and are making FD friendly samores and singing Kumbaya, holding paws, and swaying to the song. Then they romp around the deck. They've built a protective tent over the catnip patch but none can work there very long without succumbing to the effects of sniffing catnip :lol: :lol: At least they are not running back and forth in the house to use the bathroom :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
