Yesterday
Good morning! raja has 3 Ps so far today and is relaxing but the sliders. She is so funny. She came waddling down the hallway as I was sitting at the computer, measuring the syringes.
She stopped and stared at me and then proceeded to go into my bedroom. `I got this feeling that she was saying
"Are you not finished with that yet? Oh well. Too bad. You missed the window of opportunity."
But then I thought "Maybe she is going to use the LB."

Turns out, my first impression of her message was the real one. I went out and shot Shadow and then went looking for the princess. She did not go in there to use the LB.... She was snuggled in my closet, well into her morning routine. And she had the nerve to act surprised when I picked her up to give her the shot. I guess she thinks that 76 is not a shootable number. 76 means that she is cured. She doesn't need insulin this morning. She is at 76...OTJ just like Binks. :roll: It is a nice number I say, but you and your brother have some tests strips to use up today....we must be falling behind in our usage.

She is going to be VERY angry with me at around 2:45 when we start to get ready for the vet visit. Oh, I don't want to thinka bout that right now....hope you all have a good day today. I have other plans... :lol:

Good luck at the vetty's, and hopefully Raja will try the 76 every morning, and all day long ...tell her to be persistent with it and she will get her wish!

Yes Ann....routine, yearly check up. Raja has a heart murmur. She is also overweight which the vet said would cause the murmur. She said that it looks as if Raja has lost some teeth on the right side....more will be known after their dental next Friday.
So, I was sitting in the waiting room and the total time that I was in the vet office was 2.75 hours. I got home at 6:30 and did not test her when we walked in the door. But, her PMPS number looks as if she is still stressing. She urinated on the towel in her carrier...they drew blood for the dental. All-in-all, it was a record amount of time we have waited there. The office is super busy...as I anticipated, large dogs surrounding us in the waiting room..
They asked what dose of insulin they were both on. They usually just ask me and that's all we talk about as far as FD is concerned. The vet said she would watch their BGs carefully during the dental.
SO glad THAT is over with. Next stop...dental day. ugh! :roll:

Hi guys! I am glad that Raja and Shadow survived the vetty place, It's always such an ordeal. :roll: Mannie carries on so.... I wish her luck with the dental - she'll feel so such better when it is all done.

Poor Raja and Shadow all that time surrounded by droolers. I hope they settle down and are back to good numbers in the morning.
