Hello my friends, it's me Mannie. I want to take a minute this morning to remember my friend Milo. I was at Binks party last night, thinking about all our friends who have gone to the Bridge, how much I miss them, how much I wish they were still here. There are so many, and we are all so sad.... I thought maybe today I could remember one: Milo.

Milo - you are my hero. You were so sick, and nobody knew. You kept it to yourself so your bean would not worry, until it was too much to hide. You handled everything with such dignity and fortitude and grace. I will never forget you, you are my friend. I know you are happy and whole and complete at the Bridge. That brings me great joy. I know you will watch over your bean - she misses you so much. You are my friend, my hero, my buddy. Never to be forgotten.

A friend of my bean wrote this in my condo yesterday, and I want to share it with you, because it is how I feel: "we are all eternally bonded to one another, no matter what side of the veil we are on". and so it is.

I picked these flowers for you. I hope you like them. Maybe others can bring some too, add we can make you a beautiful garden. Your friend, Mannie

Mannie, you're such a thoughtful guy. That's why we all love you so much! I didn't get to know Milo, but I would like to plant some grass for him. I personally like wheat grass to chew on, so maybe Milo would like it too. He sounds like a very special kitty. And all us sugarcats will always have a special bond...Tessie Lou

Aw, Mannie - you is a sweet guy - I wish I could have met Milo - he sounds pretty awesome. I was gonna put a picture of sunflowers cause they my favorites but my mama couldn't figure it out  She said she try again later. So for all the Guardian Angels Milo, Maverick and Doodle - I misses you. ~Zoe

I miss my buddy Milo. He was brave and never complained and he loved his beans like I love mine. Milo's bean was always there to help mine when she was frustrated with my diabetes and needed support. Milo, my friend, know that you will always be loved.

planting a flower on behalf of Milo is a great idea....today is the day to remember our friend who came back from the Falls and he was really sick without his bean knowing....he was brave....we miss you Milo and hope you are doing ok at the bridge.

Mannie...I want to honor your brother, Milo, with the beautiful flowers from our saguaro cactuses. My beans and me send you and your beans lots of hugs and love in celebrating Milo's life.

Mannie, my dear sweet friend who is always picking me up for the get togethers and making sure I'm on time. That is so thoughtful. I never got to know Milo either, but I would love to plant some pretty flowers in remembrance ~ Maggie

KB wanted to plant some flowers for Milo, too. These are some of the first we see in the Spring so they are like new life.

What a beautiful idea.

Hello Mannie. I didn't know your buddy, Milo, but if he was your good friend, then he would have been my friend too.
And Mannie, please tell your mama "Meow" for me, because I know she misses Milo terribly.

Your Pal, Checkers

Ah...my dear friend Milo...ever gorgeous, always spunky...and you helped Kelly transform a non-cat guy into a loving Daddybean.
Your life was an example of quiet fortitude and perseverance...and I know you will understand what I mean when I say that it was a blessing in disguise
when you came back from the Falls...for otherwise I would never have known you.
You will live on in my heart forever...and a flower theme is so appropriate, as you were a beautiful flower in our garden of friendship.
Binks
