Good morning, all!

well, i was awake at his pm +9.5, so i fed him a minimeal. Then he ate grass and threw up at +11, so i thought his ambg might be a little up there.
Fed him a minimeal, and his +3 was back in the greens... WHEW!!!

Seems to be feeling fine...all 5 p's accounted for.

We've had company since yesterday afternoon, and have to tend to some family/social things today, so will be back later to visit condos.

well...it's barely green...but it's green!!

My question is about feeding...just wondering what folks have seen in the past, as i know ECID.
For months He's been on a schedule of 4 minimeals am and pm cycle at preshot, +1,+2,+3 with a micro meal at +9.
trial info mentions feeding small meals throughout the day as they are less likely to overwhelm a newly active pancreas.
Started on day 3 feeding him small amounts roughly every 3 hours from am until about pm +5...
I tend to think i might be better going back to his previous schedule...i think it was a mistake to feed him at his pm +9 last night, and he seems a little confused by the whole routine change...getting the same amount of food per day, but not as interested in eating after his +4.

Thoughts or advice?

and indulge me while i breathe an audible sigh of relief and gleefully exclaim...
"Thank goodness all the relatives have gone back to the ranch!! (with the exception of my cuz...but he & binks are family & very copacetic)"

Don't get me wrong...i realize the importance of family, but i have spent my time from age 16 living at a 'safe' distance...you know, where you are present for emergencies
and important events, but distant enough to escape the scrutiny and 'concerned evaluation of others' lives' conversations :lol:
I tend to navigate gatherings quite well, having lived far away for the majority of my life...but this time it was my house and The Unamommer's...and lots of visitors!
that's what i get for moving into my sister's house and having the ranch folk know that i can get them around the big city quicker than any cab!

actually, it's not that bad, except for the timing...
I realize that chewing gum seems like it would really free one up time-wise...
but in trying to catch up with the sis, the mom, the rentals, and day-to-day stuff..i've been able to keep Binks on track and unflustered.

the last two days have not been routine for him, and today i really could see some effect on him.
starting to be a bit withdrawn and not as utterly fun-loving as usual.

Fret not, young B...they're on the road, and we're back to the norm!

Whew!!! see what comes of Celi spending two days not being able to get a word in edge-wise! :lol: :lol:

thank you all for the excitement and support...
tonight i should be able to visit most condos before the wee hours...
late night condo creeper struck again last night. :-D

Oh boy, Celi, I can so relate to the visitors thing. Poor Tessie Lou gets so stressed out from having "strangers" in the house. It really takes a toll on her. So, hooray for you that things are back to normal now! Sorry I don't have any advice on the feeding. I'm still working on that aspect myself. :YMSIGH:

Considering all the company you've had, I'd say Binks' numbers are great! :-D

I hear ya on the family. my people are 3-5 hrs away, and when they descend en masse, it gets dicey. Heck, I even employ the "four day" rule for dealing with seeing my mom in person!! :lol: :lol: though, willie just loves having company... he's a mingler! I really should stop being such a hermit for his sake... :-D :-D

I'm sure once the excitement is gone, Binks will be back down in no time!!

DH here - Remeber Celi, you can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family. No, wait, thats not right. It's, you can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends nose. Yeah, thats it.

hahaha, ann - funny quote. now i have to go look at the youtube and see what's there.

of course you already know i have no idea about the feeding OTJ, but i would think that just having all that company . . . well, binks will probably settle down now that they're leaving.

ha! like i'm going anywhere! Binks doesn't have to go thru being stabbed and shot continually for me to be sneaking into condos!

(i'm actually at the nursing home with my lappy-toppy for company...the onrush of relatives/visitors kind of threw Tam into confusion, which tends to manifest
in strange & disturbing dreams...so i said i'd come hang out with her, and now the old bag is snoring away and won't let me share her dang bed! :lol: :lol:
You can bet, though, if i sneak out she'll wake up and bust me at it! )

I think your old feeding schedule is fine. We've been pushing people to feed mini-meals for some time. If it was working for Binks, stick with it.

Celi, I'm relieved when the family leaves, after just a 4 hour visit. :roll:
I can't find a condo for today, so gonna continue this one.
