Mannie spent yesterday in the land of the blues. YAY! It was a nice day for him, no greens, but I won't complain... :-D We seem to have bounced a little this AM. I hope he can clear this quickly (wow on the 244, down we go), and get back to what we had yesterday, maybe even some greens. What'd'ya say Mannie? You up for it? cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. He slept in bed with us last night, warming up this bean's feet. :cool: Well for a while anyways... I found him this AM on the nanner pile - where else :lol: - and was greeted with that "What? Did I oversleep? breffis? YAY!" look. Breffis was inhaled - must have been good stuff. Bowl was licked clean, civvie bowl raid attempted, bean interception at the pass - sorry Mannie, this bean was on to you this morning and no civvie food for you. Mannie insisted on helping me get dressed after breffis - a little tough when he wants to sit on your lap.... :lol: So we petted and gave scritches and rubbed heads instead, until the lure of the nanner pile was too strong. I was abandoned in favor of a round on nanner cuddles. Normalcy in MannieLand.

My friends! One more day and we are off the Rusty's barn for the Full Moon Party. Save the date!! I gots the tour bus all lined up, ready for our journey. I hope that maybe we can take some time from the party, and make a visit to Camp Stu where the veil works so well and maybe wish our newly departed friends Tori and Boris, a safe journey to the Bridge. Rusty: what'd'ya think? Menu for the party is in the works - this is fun: we gots the maple sugar thing, and the worm thing, and wow: what a fun combo! You guys wanna play today? Good morning guys ... sorry to hear no green for st patty's day, but a full day of blue is always nice! It sounds like mannie is having a pretty good day so far ... a great breakfast, scritches, nanners ... what more could a guy ask for? Hope you have a great weekend!

Hey Mannie, Great idea to make a side trip to Camp Stu. The veil is thinner there, even when it's not Halloween. I'm spending the day getting ready for the Full Moon Party. See you later so we can plan.

Hi Michelle, I wouldn't be surprised to see Mannie get down to some nice blues and greens, too. That's neat how Mannie sleeps in your bed. Maggie is not a bed kitty, only for 15 minutes or so.

Maggie says great idea to visit Camp Stu today and will start getting ready.

The bounce seems to be clearing already! Hoping that Mr. Mannie will decide to hit some nice blues again today, and maybe, just maybe throw in a late St. Patty's day green. Glad things are good and normal in Mannie Land!!


Hey, ol' buddy!!! LTNS, but I gots word dat deer is gonna be a party and memorial ting for Tori and Boris ( :cry: )dis weekend and I just had to join in. I'm not sure bout da skydiving ting...me mumz was just talkin bout dat yesserday w/Auntie Dian and eben tho it sounds like fun.....it must be skerry! How bout I juss stay down on da ground and cheer you guys on...ya, dat sounds good to me!!! Good Morning Michelle. Nice to see Mannie coming down already. I've given up on testing at +1, 'cause it's always a food spike, and the number is discouraging.
Looking for some more pretty blues today for the nanner hoarder. :lol:

Has it stopped raining yet? It's sunny here, but the temp is dropping as I speak. Back to the 30's. :YMSIGH:

Hi Sienne - better numbers yes, bye bye meter that read ever so high. yes on the Lev - I haven't dismissed it. I will be taking in babysitting duties for my DGS when my DD returns to work on 4/1. so... until her schedule and the baby's schedule are set - always trial and error at first - and until I know how this will affect Mannie' shot time (I am sure I'm going to have to adjust here), and knowing that lev has a very late nadir, I'm holding off. Once I see how all this will fit together then I will look seriously at lev and see if I can make that work for him. I'd love to try and do something about all his bouncy-ness.

Hi Barb - rains have stopped for a few here - I am glad - as we were seriously over saturated and well, surface waters run out of places to go. it should be sunny today - I am hoping, as is Mannie who has a serious case of "LET ME OUT!" -- yeah hear ya on the +1. I only do that one if her starts out with a low number in combo with a drop from the +11. a warning sign for him....

Well look at Mannie today and yesterday!!! Very, very nice to see ....

It takes 35-40 gallons of sap to produce one gallon of syrup and the maple sap contains 2-3% sugar. Three to four taps are required to produce each gallon of syrup. And I bet you didn't know that maple syrup contains as much calcium as milk. Our home overlooks the Sugarbush Trail and we just finished the tap season!

Just popping in to say hi Michelle. Its been a long day and I couldn't go to sleep without reading about Mannie's day. Loved that PMPS, but where did he find that +2? Weekend is almost here!!! See you guys tomorrow.

Michelle: no, I went up; I waited to open a new pen. I didn't want to go up AND open a new pen and take a chance of a double whammy at night. So up tonight and then I'll open the new pen in a day or so.

Oh Mannie...you don't want to come up here....get back down and pull me down!!
 
Hope you are headed for bed soon. I'm planning to do a +4 and see where she is; she's been romping and playing around here tonight like crazy so I'm at least glad she's feeling well. I hope she hasn't dropped 100/hour the last two hours but I didn't have the heart to poke her at 250.....
