Mannie received a dose increase with the PM cycle last night. :cool: Since I didn't have a falling number @ PS, and since he wasn't really bouncing, and since he seemed to have surfed the blues since +4, I felt I could up his dose safely with monitoring - so we did, taking off the skinny from the 2.50. Hopefully this will bring the overall range of BG's down some. We shall see, as I know too well that he was quite capable of hitting low numbers on the old dose. Paws crossed that this is what he needed. cat_pet_icon We are up in the high pinks this AM, *sigh* and hope that he can bring than down throughout the morning cycle. paws crossed again.

He was cute last night - he'd come and get me for tests - it was as if he wanted me to know that things were good, we were blue and yellow and not red and pink or even black. He'd purr and purr and purr. We'd have scritches and head butts, and lots of pets. :-D :cool: He's his usual happy furry purry self this morning: ready for test,and fuds and shoot: cobbled up breffis. It must have been good fuds. I did find him waiting for the auto feeder to open for breffis #2 :shock: wow!, and progress! what a battle this has been. nanner napping now in progress.

Good morning guys .. sorry to see the pink numbers this morning .. I hope the new dose is just what mannie needs to get him back down to blues and greens .. Headbutts are so nice coming from a kitty .. Only our civvie gives headbutts in this house .. have a great day guys!

Such a Sweet Boy Mannie--Hope the dose crease brings him down to nice numbers...
Moonie was practicing a dive yesterday to show Mannie she could do it @-)

So cute that Mannie waits for his auto-feeder to open. I hope this new dose helps bring Mannie's numbers down. Were you the one thinking of a new meter? I was wondering if you checked out the American Diabetes Wholesale. I can get Maggie's glucose strips cheaper than Amazon.

Oh yay on using the automat. I never did get Checkers to use it, so gave it to DD. I admit I didn't try very hard, because he doesn't eat anyway, when I'm not there to egg him on.

Good luck on the dosecrease. Boy, now I hate these pink numbers. Mannie's been in wonderful numbers before, he'll do it again, Michelle. :smile:

on the auto feeder! Now if he will just keep it up! i sort of gave up on Tess, but now that her last meal is at 11:00pm I need to start working on it again. Ahhhhh, I just saw he's down to mid yellows, good job Mannie!

Hi Devon - congrats on Mocha btw - so great! oh me too - so far it's looking good. :-D on the head butts - only Mannie dishes them out. love it!

Thanks Roni - me too! I saw Moonie's dive! Mannie was so proud! silly boy.... he said he's been coaching her. :shock: I told him no more coaching.... :lol:

Hi Ann - no on the meter -well I have thought of it, but just ended up staying with what I have. It reads high which is why I was thinking about a new one... jury is still out.... And yes - I looked ADW yesterday, and will check with them when I need to order next. Thanks!

Hi Barb - I know on the feeder - I really could not believe my eyes. maybe now he will start to use it - it sure would free up a few hours for me. Normally I too have to egg him on. he really likes to be served. :roll: and thanks on the numbers - I hope the dosecrease will help him get back on track.

Hi Ann - just saw your post - we must have crossed paths.... oh yes on the feeder - i hope that it was not a one time thing. It would really help me out in the mornings if he would just use it....

Hey Tess! Meet me on the yellow floor - I bet we can find the blues and greens if we stick together. I wonder if we need to dig Rusty out again - that sure was fun yesterday. You wanna do anything? Sorry that Mannie is stinkus pinkus this morning, but I think it is important to focus on the positive... Mannie had reasonable curves yesterday with far less drama! Goal achieved!! Fingers and paws crossed that he will continue to come down more gently each day and will begin starting his cycles at lower numbers very soon!

What a misty drizzly damp day here in Washington.... it did make for quiet trails though and my morning mini hike was nice, wet.... but nice. Loved it: all the birds were chirping!

I was grateful yesterday to have cleared the bounce and have a decent afternoon so I could give him the dosecrease that I think he needs. Success!

298 @ +11. not too bad... We didn't skyrocket, we didn't plummet... and his +11 is usually, not always, higher than his pmps. so.... hopefully we will have a great start for the evening cycle. :-D

Yea for Mannie eating from his automat!! I haven't used the automat as an "automat" yet for Rusty, but I put his dishes in the side-by-side compartments and use it as a tray--eating platform. I figure that he will be so used to eating out of it that if I have to use it as an automat, it won't be a problem.
So glad to see the better numbers today with no big dives and jumps. Have a great evening!

Hey Mannie, thanks for coming to dig me out of the snow again. How did you like my tunnel? It was great by Gracie's poolside. See you tomorrow. My mamabean is going skiing, so I can spend all day with the gang.

Wow, no deep sea diving and no hot air balloon for Nanner Mannie today. Good job Mannie. Hope he comes down to blue or green, quietly, and surfs nicely. Thanks for your well wishes. Long day, I'm off to bed.

HI Ella - do you believe it? it was funny - seeing him sitting there waiting for it to open. If only he would do that all the time! I had intended for him to use this in the morning for the +1, etc, so that I could be gone if need be, when I take on DGS sitting duties here shortly - so I would know that he would eat when i was in transit. we had it down for a while, then he just stopped. aiyee! so today was good, paw crossed that it continues....

Rusty - your tunnel is SO COOL! You could play in there for hours and no one would be the wiser. awesome dude! I like too how it goes right up to the door. that concealed entrance was a nice touch. isn't Gracie's cabana bean the best? see you tomorrow - i am glad that your bean is going skiing, well cuz she likes it, but mainly cuz we can be gone all day! NICE!!!! Sorry I didn't get to condos today....tried a couple from work but not much progress. Glad to see Mannie in low yellow....headed for BLUE!!!

Mannie...what a blast digging Rusty out of the snow. I hope everyone had fun here today with daddybean giving us niptecates!! Hope he doesn't get in trouble with any other beans!! So...shall we see who can get greener tonight????

no worries on the condos... I never could get to any of them when i was working, big brother and all that.

It has been an OK day for Mannie - at least it was dive and bounce free for once. big HOORAY on that one.

Hey Gracie - Rusty's was fun - I love the network of tunnels we made. :lol: :cool: Your daddy bean is funny. He had all these pics in your condo. my bean laughed alot, and then she'd let me see - she'd send then on my phone.... funny. I kinda liked them niptecates. YUM! ok on the green - i dunno if i can, but sure will try. Let's go! ~~ Mannie

Sorry I didn't get to stop by earlier to see how Mannie was doing. Very exciting on the automatic feeder thing. I hope he is waiting by it tomorrow morning.

Hi Georgia- no problem really. he's had an OK day, though the trend tonight is not what I had hoped for. oh ell - we try again tomorrow. and yes (!!) paws crossed on the feeder.
