Good Morning LL!! ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) ~O) , and Happy Monday!

Mannie and I are saddened to learn of the passing of Whiskers. Candles were lit yesterday to help guide her way to the Rainbow Bridge. Fly free little one.

What a bouncy mess yesterday. :roll: I think that with the PM cycle I will take off the skinny on Mannie's dose, see if that will help him get over this mess that we currently have. I would have this AM, but will be gone most of the day, and didn't want to take the risk of him diving while I am gone. I do know that he is quite capable of making the 50's, and the 40's on this dose, and want to be here to monitor him with a new dose. He's been on this dose a long time, and I question if it has lost its effectiveness. So - depending on where he is at for pmps I expect to shoot a 2.50 tonight, or maybe a chubby skinny - if I can even measure that. :lol:

Mannie is his normal furry purry self this morning. Breffis was served and eaten with gusto - alot of nom nom purrrrrr nom nom going on during chowdown. :-D He spent a part of this morning helping me get ready, dressed, start the day. I had alot of leg rubs. He got alot of pets and chin scritches. He is now sleeping with the nanners. When I went to bed last night he was on the pile, hugging two of them, sound asleep. Too cute!

The saga of the Rainbow Bandit continues... Thanks you Christie for making me laugh last night. I share her post from late last night, as it is just too funny. Celi - the photo of the zen kitty was great!

The feline dubbed by Lantus Land authorities as "The Rainbow Bandit" has extended his streak of crazy bouncing numbers into another day. Known to his friends and family as "Mannie," the cat showed promise of a slow decline today, only to drop to blue numbers and bounce back up to near black heights. Despite pleas from the beans on the board of "Holy Macanoly!!" and "NO DIVING!!," the Rainbow Bandit continues to be unwilling to heed the calls of members of the Lantus Land community to move to a more consistent, stable pattern of BG#s. Friends of the Rainbow Bandit, concerned that perhaps this latest jump was a parasailing incident gone awry, were last seen with some sort of crazy rope contraption involving pulleys and levers, hoping to guide him more gently down to the world of blue and green. This is a relief to many Lantus Land residents, as rumors have circulated that the Rainbow Bandit may be using his KTSS bus as a guise to run training sessions for his fellow felines on how to drive beans insane with crazy, unpredictable numbers. Authorities have not ruled out that the Rainbow Bandit may be operating on behalf of CALC, the Cats Against Literacy Campaign, a feline organization devoted to achieving world domination by preventing their beans from reading, communicating with the outside world, etc. Authorities are concerned that CALC may now have a FD fringe element that uses stress over BG#s as a means to achieve their objective.

Authorities continue to warn the public to not let their guard down regarding this possible growing menace. In recent days, adorable, furry purry pictures of the Rainbow Bandit have surfaced leading many to question how a cat so adorable could possibly be capable of such a plot. While the Rainbow Bandit's bean Michelle continues to pursue all possible options for controlling the Rainbow Bandits antics, authorities urge beans with cats to be aware of the possible threat.

I think an extra drop would be good for the Rainbow King and I am flattered that you like my term "chubby" for a dose :lol: :lol: Perhaps it will go down in the annals of LL and be added to the dictionary :lol: :lol:

It will be interesting to see what Mannsters does today. I hope you have a wonderful day wherever you are headed.

Hi marjorie - yep, I think so too. Just an extras drop to get this moving in the right direction - hope so anyways.I've alwasy loved the "chubby" terminology. It's great. (who knows - maybe it will make the annals of LL dictionary, that and the KTSS :-D ) So we will see if we can chubby up his dose. It may just end up being a true to the 2.50 line dose. Just couldn't do it this AM - as I am gone from about his +5 until pmps - DH has a minor day surgery today, we are in and out in about 3 hours. even so - not home to watch a dose increase.

170 @ +4.5. I added a small mini meal to his list today, and fed this +4.5 with a small tsp of 2% LC. I am glad to see the blue, but shesshhhhh Mannie: 270 points in 4 hours? slow down there fella - we have all day. :-D

180 @ PMPS. since I didn't have a falling number @ PS, and since he isn't really bouncing, and since he seems to have surfed the blues since +4, I felt I could up his dose. so..... we moved the skinny from the 2.50 - shot a nice 2.50U. I hope this jumps starts things for Mannie, maybe evens things out. We shall see, as I know too well that he was quite capable of hitting low numbers on the old dose. :-D

Hi Marjorie - no worries! I can imagine that Gracie has you jumping. I thought she might. Looks like the new dose will give her the jumps start that you are looking for. It will be interesting to see how long it goes before you have to reduce again. I believe you said that the time frame was getting shorter each time. -- well, we were blue here for a bit, now headed back up. It usually takes him a couple of days with a new dose before we see any results, so no surprise here tonight i guess. at least we are not those "other colors" (paws crossed, and anti-jinx!)

Hi Christie - me too - hope to see some results tomorrow. maybe. I am just grateful that we didn't get another horrific bounce from a couple of blue numbers. YAY!
