hi all,
shocking amps indeed...this is the highest yet...

on the venting part...Rocket's vet has not even called or email to see how he is doing...or how the treatment is going...they sure like taking your money but seems they don't care...it is as though they already erased him off their list...that's my venting....cause if i get into it further i'm gonna get all upset and teary

appetite is so so for him today...has not gained nor lost weight...will check for ketones but seems i miss it each time he goes...

continued prayers for Whiskers, Tori and Butthead...sorry if i've missed anyone...i really don't visit condos...1) for lack of energy...2) been trying to spend as much time with Rocket....3) i haven't been feeling well and i'm still not well....

thinking and praying everyone and their kitties are having a good day...

That is high for Rocket. Are you increasing his dose? Is your insulin still good (didn't peak at his spreadsheet)?

Still asking for the balcony?

Don't worry about his vet. Are you emailing them updates? Do you need something from them? If not, just keep loving him. That's medicine for him and you :):):) Hugs.

Always in my thoughts!
I know how frustrating it can be, vets.....as you say, taking the money without hesitation, and never following up...Especially when it was basically a new course of treatment with a new ailment, to be countered with the other meds..
Frustrating to say the least!

Keep hanging in there you're doing great for your boy!!!

Claudia, I'm sorry your vet hasn't even checked in on Rocket. It seems they would at least have someone call. But don't let it stress you out -- as it was said in another post, you are the best medicine for Rocket right now. Don't worry about visiting condos because everyone understands that Rocket is your number 1 priority.

I am going out of town tomorrow to a place without computer access so I won't be able to check in on you and Rocket. But I will continue to pray for you and hope when I come back, that Rocket is eating and enjoying the outside.

insulin is still good..it's new...upped the dose to 1.5u as of this morning...

still asking to go out on the balcony...it is bitterly cold here at -24C so i let him out only 1 min max then bring him back in...but he argues with me...we repeated that for 4 times before he realized it was pretty darn cold and decided to stay inside...

yes loving him...caring for him with my unconditional love is what he needs....after all he's given me over 17 yrs of unconditional love....and that i consider a gift....

(((Claudia and Rocket))), your love is the best medicine for him. I can relate to a silly kitty wanting out when it's cold! My civvie Tommy does that and stays out until he is shaking :roll:
