Yesterday's Condo

It's Gizmo's birthday!! He's 2 years new. Below is a photo from the day I brought him home. Despite his getting on Gabby's last nerve, he adores her. Shortly after Gizmo's arrival, Gabby became a very sick girl. She was diagnosed with FD and was hospitalized with DKA, pancreatitis, and hepatic lipidosis. She rallied and was home 3 days later and our sugar dance began. This was the first time in his 4 month life that Gizmo spent any time without another (let alone 10) other cats/kittens around. When Gabby returned, he literally was jumping up and down, head butting her, and doing whatever he could to let her know just how much he missed her. Gizmo is an incredibly sweet kitten. (Judging from her numbers, Gabby has been "celebrating" and not sharing the cake with Gizmo. I'm sure her numbers will be back down once the bounce clears.)

Good morning guys and happy birthday to gizmo!!! That is such a cute picture and story about gizmo ..Sounds like the gentle giant ... I hope gabby decides to share some of the cake with gizmo today and that she comes down to blues and greens later on ... have a great day guys!

Sienne, Gizmo is gorgeous! I love his stripes. :-D

Healing vines and prayers for your sis. I hope yesterday went well, and she is feeling okay today.

I am a bad bean. I go so preoccupied with Gabby not eating Gizmo's dinner that I forgot to shoot! Fortunately, I wandered back into the kitchen and saw the syringe sitting out about 30 min. after the kitties ate. Oops.

Did you ever go through a lot with Gabby. FHL was a nightmare for us let alone adding DKA and learning about FD on top of that. Wow.

First: GABBY!!!! Where you going girl? You did take those wishes literally!

Second: HAPPY SECOND BIRTHDAY GIZMO!!! What a darling kitten photo and he is a beautiful boy, Sienne.

Third: Things have been crazy here the last week or so but I wanted to thank you so much for your very wonderful sentiments on the anniversary of Max's passing. It means so much to me and Mike and I really appreciated your post. (((Sienne)))
