thanks everyone for your words of encouragement yesterday. I guess I was expecting a little more action by now, as I saw some early on with the Lantus. But I will stick it out and see if the magic dose on Lev shows up soon.

It's freezing here again, -25C!!!! I'm going to have to build an igloo soon, if this keeps up. My kitties are so lucky snuggled in front of the heating vent as their crazy bean got dressed for work this morning.

How do you even go outside with weather like that? Come on down south -- we are going to have weather in the 60's F this weekend! Hope Tray starts liking the lev soon.

I guess you'll just have to wait a bit longer to figure out what Tray's dose should be on Lev. Perhaps you started too low? Anyway, Lev. is a mystery to me, too. Since I have no real basis for comparison (Rusty's patterns are very different from Stu's) I just carry on as if it were Lantus with a slightly later nadir. It builds the same type of shed, so perhaps you haven't reached the optimum shed-level yet.

Anyway, stay warm and have a good weekend. Our temp. this morning is +3 F.

Your last Lantus dose was 3.50u, right? You are increasing from your starting dose...so eventually, you will get to the magic dose that will being some nice action. I had the same thought as Ella about the dose you began with...but you are doing a good job. hang in there...! Hope you have a great Friday! The kitties have the right idea about staying warm!

I concur! hang in there - you will find the right dose for Tray. The 257 this morning is better - I hope he can see some great numbers today.
