Morning all,
i'm pretty tired...couldn't sleep well last night...fed him at 3:30 am (i slept thru the alarm) but he ate some...

AMPS 304 he's had breffis...so shortly here the pheno in place...then i'll try btb

please continue to pray for us...

I hope you do get btb -- you need some sleep!

Could you try to get a +5 or +6 today? I want to see how the pred plays into the cycle.

I'll be gone at his +4.5 for dr's apt hoping to get back for his +6...I'll try

Pred in 15 mins...trying to feed him now

PMPS 299...managed to feed him and he ate ok...as he has not eaten very well through out the day...

he looks so tired...but on a positive note...he did spend time out on the balcony...it was nice here today (7C)...and i tucked him in under his blankets...he didn't want to be inside...so he stayed there a while...

so what dose tomorrow then? same?

eta: let me rephrase it....keeping the same dose for tomorrow amps the same as 0.25u still?

for those of you who may jump the gun at me and hit me with a baseball bat...i just want to say that with all that i'm going thru with him...it is comforting to know and to be reminded that what i'm doing is the right thing for Rocket....so don't judge me....

i just want to know if the same dose still applies tomorrow....

Hi Claudia,
I haven't any experience with insulin dose when all those other meds are in the mix, so I'll just concentrate on sending good thoughts, prayers, and some healing vines. Hope you both can get some good sleep tonight.

Hi Claudia,

Does it seem like Rocket is feeling a little better with the Pred. yet? How many days has he been getting it? Also I know I already asked this but didn't see the answer, which type of pred. is he on?
Going out on the balcony seems like a good sign, he's showing intrest :mrgreen: .

I keep you, Rocket and you DH in my thoughts and Prayers every day, and thank you for doing the same for us. o:-)

How about a dosecrease for tomorrow? I'm guessing Rocket doesn't like the way he feels in these higher numbers. Let's get him outta there.

by how much? to 0.5u?

no he seems tired and though he is showing interest in going out in the balcony those numbers are not his norm if that makes sense....

Cheryl, he is on prednisolone...and he seems to have perked up a lil bit...but it's hard to tell...i take one hour at a time with him....he started the pred on Monday night

I'm glad Rocket was able to enjoy the outdoors for a little bit today. That must have made you feel good that he showed interest in being on the balcony. Keeping you and Rocket in my thoughts and prayers.

he ate pretty good about half hr ago...shockingly...

now +5 295

will try to go to bed now....hopefully i will get some rest...and him too...

DCIN is available as a mechanism to make tax-deductible donations for Rocket's care. Claudia's Lantus friends generously contributed $120 of the $300 that DCIN paid towards Rocket's vet visit in late January. Rocket has a neurologist's appointment on Tuesday, and DCIN will pay whatever it receives on Rocket's behalf toward that.

Here's Rocket's new page on the DCIN blog, where Claudia explains the need for donations. If you can find it in your heart and wallet to contribute to Rocket's care, please help. Claudia and Rocket also need healing prayers and white light.

The pictures of Rocket on DCIN's web site are so lovely. I am so glad to see you are getting some support for his care. I also noticed that it is the prenisolone he has been prescribed. How is Rocket feeling today? Does it seem to be helping him? Has he shown more intrest is spending time with you guys or outside on the balcony again? (Is the weather still ok for you?)

We continue to keep all of you in our thoughts and Prayers, and will keep our fingers and paws crossed for a good neuro vet visit on the 15th. cat_pet_icon
