I am a little concerned about Blackie - he vomited yesterday some time in the morning and then he vomited this morning before I left for tbp. DH had a hard time getting him to eat at +2, but opened a new can of FF and Blackie ate that. And last night I screwed up his B-12 injections. I had 2 prefilled syringes and I did a fur shot with the first one and then couldn't get the plunger to go in on the 2nd one and it blew the needle off of the syringe. ohmygod_smile I will pick up more today and do it right tonight!

The vet emailed me that he thought the pica (eating dirt) could be GI upset. He is going to talk to me about a different antacid later today and I left him a message about the vomiting. He didn't think we needed more bloodwork or fPLI, but I'm hoping to actually talk to him today.

Other than that, Blackie seems okay. He ate well last night and I weighed him this morning and he is maintaining his weight. His other P's are in place too.

I hope all is well with Blackie. It's tough when we feel tings just aren't 100% right. I hope you get the chance to talk to your vet - maybe it's as simple as a different antacid? Hope so. Bummer on the B12 injections... hope that goes better today.

Not too bad on the numbers this morning - a sunny yellow!

How is Blackie this evening? His numbers look really good. I hope you will get some good answers to your questions when you talk to your vet.

Sending healing vines. Maybe what Blackie needs to settle his stomach are some of Stu's brown weeds!! (but they are buried under 2 feet of snow at the moment, with the main part of the storm yet to make an appearance).
