Hi Josh,
Looks like Sophie is doing well today. We frequently like to give a WCR (whole cat report) that includes the status of the five Ps (peeing, playing, pooping, preening, and purring). It just lets us get to know Sophie as more than just her SS, you know?
Sorry for the lame report earlier Sophie is doing well - peeing and thirst is normal (no swamp litter), spritely and making that adorable little chirping sound when she comes to get petted. Looks like the nocturnal racing around the house (claws skidding around corners like a cartoon character) is going to continue. Seems to be a feature of having her BG under control at night - who knew! Sugar-free Mink couldn't be bothered; she's too busy putting her fat tabby butt up under my chin at night.
My pet sitter told me that cats only show their a**es to the ones they love and trust.
Uhmm... I continue(d) to tell them that it was not their best side.
Looks like the AM cycle was nice and gentle. .. how's the PM cycle going?
Yes, it has been a gentle cycle. Since I'm a late person, we're just coming up on the PM cycle at 11 p.m. Her +11 is 137. Nice smooth day, and I'll be interested to see her PMPS in an hour.
well.... you've probably gone to bed.
but if you haven't, you can always do a "sleep test" which is where you set your alarm for some hour, barely wake up, and do a poke.
like... you might want to set your alarm for her +5, +7, or +8. Would be good to get info on where she is during those spots in her cycle.
