A good day for Mr. Spot again. Mom had a hard time getting blood for his pm test and I think she stressed him out. Spot got some extra goodies today...turkey and shrimp...two of his most favorite fuds! Of course, all the other furries had their share also.

Called the vet today to see if she would give Ralph something for pain. He just seems like he is in pain, and the tramadol just wasn't working for him. So tonight I picked up some prednisolone tonight for him. I've read the side effects, and part of me doesn't want to give it to him and the other wants to. I'm hoping that it works. I got his heating mat last night and he spent most of the day laying next to it. I caught him laying half on and half off and then I finally put him on it so that he could see that it was warm. He stayed there for about five minutes then off he went. I also ordered him a raised feeding dish http://www.classycatdishes.com/store.html which I hope will help him too.

Here are some pictures I took, in case anyone would like to see...

I loved the pics also - they made my night

Those raised feeding dishes are amazing!!! So much nicer than our home made raised station! I have to get some. I'm going to try and find a flat heated mat for Maverick also, I bought the cat bed but he won't use it because it has the raised sides.

And your geriatric litter box is awesome. I am going to make one for Maverick. I bought one with a low entry but he pees right out. This one he would hit walls. Its perfect and he won't have to lift his legs much over the side to get in. Thanks for sharing!!!!

(((Ralphie))) I pray you find answers soon.. it is tough to see them just not "quite right" fingers & paws crossed, Deb.

Mom stressin Spot out? Cannot have that  good fuds & treats though.. CrAzY kitties might just be playin the part

Thank you for your support & kind words over the past few days :YMHUG:

Ni NI Deb. LOVED the pics - they are such gorgeous babies. Loved the geriatric LB too. Perfect!

Hear ya on the meds for Ralphie. Understand why you are hesitant. Then again, know why too you would want to give it to him. I know so little on the drug - But I hope maybe it can help him.

Are you feeling better from your ordeal yesterday? I hope the roads have improved - though I hear another storm is on its. way? Sheshhhh - what a winter for you. has Spot recovered? Spot, you doing any more ice dancing on the streets??

Mannie is so stoked that Spot was bringing Ralphie to the party. Sweet!
