Ah tells u guys...when one dese beans gets a lil broken, dey don work rite! De Cur-Smudgeon tordie be's awake mos' da nite, an she an da bean fight til fo' am...who gon' sleep where...don' hit da Annie...don' hit de B...don' growl, snarl, slap at da bean! Dis' 'Mudge...she no givin up...Ann's hide unner bed, i hides unner blankie ona couch wit bean... bean yell sum berra bad wurds...big mean tordie prowl an growl. bean lock 'em up dis mornin...but weks up 30 min lates.
I gibs her green nummer to mek her happy fur da day. She hasn copies an cream ina cup (none fur B)...an seem bedders..

fed mc here...

and right on target as usual, Sienne...the battle is due to her understandable clinginess...she is glued to me like a bad reputation...and insists that the other cats need no attention. She gets quite aggressive when things dont go her way.

the honest truth may be that she senses i get a little tired of her omnipresence...and of course am devoted to the boy...and drawn to Annie as she makes me work for her trust.

i'm giving her a lot of attention...but need to curb my reaction to her temper...i've never had a cat roomie that was aggressive, and tend to react very negatively to it.
i thought the answer was timeout when she gets nasty...but am finding that just increases and prolongs her crabbiness. new tactic...cuddle her thru the nastiness...may it work...PLEASE!!

Great start for the Binkster!! Sorry about the cling-on kitty you have. Thunder is "sort of" like that to me, but probably not as bad as your situation. Hopefully the snuggling through the nastiness works! Makes me think of Elmyra from Tiny Toons

Or else Binks will have to have the KTSS call a special meeting of all the kitties to mediate a solution with those torties, & they can be tough!!!!

Another beautiful day for Binks. Good to hear about him having some extra pep today. I love hearing about Annie. I don't remember the name of the other torti - he must be the mellow middle child?

Another nice day for Binks! Aren't before/after poo activities the best?! Around here, they are called poo dances. Johnny actually choreographs them beforehand. You'll see him looking up at the stairs, over at the counter, back at a chair, etc. And then, after he poos, he comes flying down the stairs and hits all of these spots with great excitement and ease! It's hilarious. lol at 'magical poops'.

actually...Smudge is the problem child..she is 'Phi Beta Kappa' Alpha female...but with a really funny, fascinating personality ...Annie is a heartwrenchingly shy and insecure girl...but cute as a bug and charming to boot. i'm celebrating today because she has only run to hide under the bed once...has spent most of the day with us in the living room.
i let Smudge hang out on my lap most of the day...so she's been mellow...and the feeding side by side seems to be helping...
Small wins will get us there.

the sad thing is Binks is the only one comfy with my sis...he's done companion cat in the past, and didn't know her prior to the "event" (as the doctors so cleverly call it)...so her wheelchair doesnt freak him out.
I'd be devastated if something happened to me that made Binks fearful...(my tantrums and crazy laughter just seem to amuse him :lol: )

ETA: :lol: at johnny cat and his poo dances!
Pat was the one who coined the phrase 'magical poops" for raja & shadow...i think it should be added to the Lantus Lingo list

Bahahaha, Binks and Checkers would get along fine. Checks couldn't care less about my tantrums of late.

What a gorgeous run of numbers today, for the Binkster. He wants to make his mama happy. :mrgreen:

Smudge I'll have to remember that. Now that I know she's the dominant one I won't forget. I'm glad Binks is so cool with your sister and her wheelchair.

One thing I've found with Gizmo when he gets a little over the top with Gabby is to distract him with play. The aggression may be overzealous attention seeking. Play allows these guys to channel that more appropriately (vs. gnawing on your ankle).

On my top 5 most favorite things about LL is the fact that I can have a most craptastic afternoon, and yet count on Binks' condo to totally improve my mood. :)
