Sorry Alex has been absent (if you even noticed...lol), but with my schedule these days it's hard for me to do much more than glance at the boards and if needed add my 2 cents. Between job training and my mom and taking care of the boys..there goes the day. *big sigh*
Alex is doing well..although not as well as some of the phenomenal numbers I've been seeing on here.(Good work everyone)! That may never be in the cards for him. But he is happy. Gets up most days wearing his purry pants. Goes into his tunnel and the cubes pretty often. Has been waaaay more affectionate than usual. Yesterday he even went visiting when I brought packages in the house (I wish I had had a video camera on me then). For some reason he just walked out the door...and when I turned my head he was trotting (as well as he can with his neuropathy-he kind of 'wiggles)around the corner at my neighbor's door just when Barry was coming out. Instead of running like I thought he would, he stood there and purred while Barry gave him scritches and Barry kept saying "hey Buddy..what the heck are you doing here"? and chuckling....
And Alex, well HE just looked so happy with himself. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: Very weird. cat_pet_icon cat_pet_icon
Anyway, all p's are in order (although I have felt at times this week that Alex may be coming down with something), Alex and Jackson had a big brefiis and are taking their morning naps.
Oh and Jackson is now on 1/2 pred every other day. His legs are much better than they were but he still has a limp. It seems to be mostly when he wakes up and I have placed boxes by the places he jumps off of(bed, sofa;etc) and he is using them as steps so he's afraid to jump down. I'm thinking arthritis. He's on Cosequin also. I still have my fingers crossed. He's going back to vet in a week.
