1/7 Harley AMSP 390

Rough night for Harley. Had some high numbers and ended +10.5 at 417. He has come down some. I expect he will be in the 200's by noon. Seems like he does go down during the day. I goofed up and only gave 8 units last night but the full 8,5 this AM. I have changed his diet to include raw foods from Woody's. They use everything in their raw foods so wonder if the bone, organ meats etc would be higher in carbs. He loved it!

I wish we had a place where I could get raw like that. Ann did a calculation on raw food using Feline Future pre-mix which is pretty close, I think, what you're feeding. It's about 1% carb. You could probably ask the company to provide you with the "as fed" values and plug them in to Janet & Binky's calculator so you know for sure what the carb count is.

Jill has also noted that if she changes Alex's food, she has higher numbers for a day or two. The change in diet may also be affecting Harley's numbers.
