I don't understand these high numbers. (bounces?) I was hoping he'd settle in a little more once we were back home. We haven't gotten as many spot checks since getting home because the best-tester-in-the-house has been sick. Brian's been sick since earlier this week and tonight he took his temp on a whim (mine) and it was 102.7. Yoiks. I've been doing my best with testing, but with higher numbers come a more growly and less patient Johnny. Brian's a one-test wonder and I am, um, not. I psych myself out too much. I can get the drop, but it just doesn't SUCK UP the strip right. If I hear that E-7 BEEEP! one more time ...

Sorry for the vent. Johnny, otherwise, is doing well. Still making time for play, but not as much as when he's in the lower numbers. Eating fine.

Janice --

Remember that bounces occur not just from low numbers but when numbers drop quickly, as well. Johnny went from a 447 to 243 in the space of 3.5 hours and he probably continued to drop. He's probably bouncing due to the speedy nature of that drop. Once the bounce clears, let's take a look and see if Johnny needs a dosecrease.

I hope Brian is feeling better.

Thanks, Celi!

Thanks, Sienne, for the reminder about the quick drop. I'm still (in my head) accustomed to the sudden 'Johnny' drop into the greens when there wasn't a big bounce. But, these numbers are higher than previous numbers and still big drops. You're right. We just need to reign in these bounces and that takes time. Thanks for the friendly reminder. :) Tonight is a big drop and will maybe have a little bounce, too.

I'd like to add that I was a one-poke tester with PMPS and +3! (anti-jinx)
