Yesterday's Condo

While in hallway guarding position, I found Gabby a bit remiss in her morning activity. Despite having several nanners, a catnip cigar, and two catnip lemons, someone found a catnip filled sock, dragged it to a different room, and deposited it in the hallway "watch" spot. Needless to say, Gabby was rolling around with the sock and finally came to rest with her head firmly planted on top of the sock. (Note to Mannie: the sock is much more comfortable for said purpose than the nanners.)

:-D :-D :-D I have made sure that Mannie has read this post. his comment: "what? better than nanners? nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.... can it be so? Surely not.... hmmmmmm, maybe I should check.... uh where are those socks....."

I have stressed my poor girl. This morning, Gabby saw the dreaded cat carrier. It was in plain view because Gizmo was due for his annual check up today. Upon seeing the carrier, Gabby quickly retreated to a spot behind the sofa. Clearly a "catch me if you can" spot. She finally relaxed. Gizmo, on the other hand, was climbing in the carrier despite Gabby's warnings. At about the time I was going to leave, Gizmo was still in the carrier so I shut the door. Keen hearing that she has, this resulted in Gabby darting under the futon in my study. I have no doubt she was thinking, "Your arms are not that long!

Gizmo has a clean bill of health other than he has the start of tartar building up. Gabby wasn't pleased to see the carrier on our return home, either.

Good to hear Gizmo has a clean bill of health except for the tartar. Tell Gabby it's safe to come out now, or is it Gabby's turn next?

So Gabby has a catnip stash, too!!! She had a nice blue day and looks like she might be up to something tonight for you!!!

I left some photos for you in our condo...proof of snow in Tucson!! :lol: :lol: All melted pretty quickly but...

Way to hide, Gabby! Funny that Gizmo was just hanging out in the carrier when the door closed. Hooray for a clean bill of health. I hope Gabby relaxes tonight and gives you some great numbers.

When I lived in a bigger place, I used to leave the carrier out. After a month or two, Danger and Cosmo would snuggle in there and nap.

Glad Gizmo got a clean bill of health, except for teeth. Will he be getting his teeth brushed now?
