Hey Dian,

Just saw your post on Health - Don't rule out food allergies quite yet. Many times it take up to 8-12 weeks of an elimination diet for relief from symptoms.

I see you are trying beef and fish first, which is good, but cats can be allergic to pretty much anything. Beef and fish are common culprits, but other proteins aren't unheard of either (chicken, turkey, duck, pork). All depends on what Twinkie's body develops a reactive response to. Even dyes, thickeners like guar gum, and other artificial ingredients can be suspect. Any food with by-products can potentially contain meats other than what is on the label too. Stupid pet food industry.

not sure if I gave 2.25 or 2.50 since magnifiers were downstairs and I was lazy. lesson learned. twinkie very stressed out over new e-collar. actually hissed and attacked me and marjorie. sadly marjorie has the scars to prove it. so that would explain the higher numbers for twink
were were thinking ringworm but dismissed that since 2 of my cats have been in this room and show no signs of anything and none my other do either.I have always gone from the boyz to my cats so if ringworm, we should all be showing something by now and neither do I but sure do get the itchies when I talk about it
 
these are 2 boyz that I am fostering. were transported her form connecticut. the kind people on the board are supporting their care since I am not in a financial position to do so. they were relinquished due to an domestic abuse situation and only had to days before PTS
